Anniversary announcements for 9/2
The Mowens
Rollo and Anna Mowen celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Thursday, July 27, 2000.
Their family gathered for a seafood dinner in celebration of the event.
The Mowens are lifelong residents of Franklin County, Pa., and have lived in State Line, Pa., for more than 50 years.
Mr. Mowen is retired from Fairchild Aircraft.
Mrs. Mowen is retired from J.S. Schonneman.
The Mowens have one son, Thomas Mowen, and two grandchildren.
The Hamps
Mr. and Mrs. William A. Hamp Jr. of Warfordsburg, Pa., and Inverness, Fla., celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000, with family and friends at a dinner party at Park 'N Dine Restaurant.
The event was hosted by their sons, William Hamp III of Bonita Bay, Fla., and Warrenton, Va., and Stephen J. Hamp of Boonton, N.J.
