2 seriously hurt in wreck in Pa.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Two people were seriously injured Monday morning in a two-vehicle wreck on Pa. Route 641 a half-mile east of Pa. 997 in northern Franklin County, state police said.

Flown to York Hospital in York, Pa., were Carl Peterson, 68, of 20394 Spring Run Road, Spring Run, Pa., and Clarence Kellogg, 85, of Pittsfield, Pa. Both were listed in serious condition Monday night.

Doris Kellogg, 71, also of Pittsfield, was being treated at Chambersburg Hospital for moderate injuries.

According to police, Peterson was eastbound on Pa. 641 shortly before 9 a.m. in a 1985 Ford dump truck when the truck crossed the center line and collided with the Kelloggs' 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan in the left front.

The dump truck continued on in the eastbound lane for about 100 yards, police said.
