George Coover

DRY RUN, Pa. - George Coover, 61, of Gold'n Gray Nursing Home, Dry Run, and formerly of 245 Perry Road, Fayetteville, Pa., died Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, at Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, Pa.

Born Oct. 22, 1938, in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Clarence and LuLu Strang Coover.

He was a laborer.

He is survived by four sisters, June Bernice Carbaugh and Mary A. Harmon, both of Chambersburg, Verda Belle Shew of Fayetteville, and LuLu May Stone of Hagerstown; two brothers, Clarence Coover of Chambersburg and Richard A. Coover of Hagerstown; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Coover.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

There will be no public viewing.

Arrangements are by John L. Agett Funeral Home, Dry Run.

Regina M. Bonner

BOONSBORO - Regina M. Bonner, 81, of 8507 Mapleville Road, and formerly of 11417 Manse Road, Hagerstown, died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.

Born Feb. 5, 1919, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Lousie K. Mullenix Duffey.

She was retired from Statton Furniture Co., where she worked as a secretary.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, William R. Bonner; a daughter, Christine A. Funk of Ft. Loudon, Pa.; two sisters, Helen Homes of Catonsville, Md., and Theresa Pohlman of Ocean City, Md.; a grandchild and four great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Rev. Robert E. Morey will be celebrant. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown.

Mary L. Marrow

Mary Louise Marrow, 67, of 445 Mitchell Ave., Hagerstown, died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000, in Washington County Hospital.

Born July 24, 1933, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Lucille G. Johnson Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. L. Marrow Sr.

She retired in 1990 from the former Gold Bond of Hagerstown.

She attended the Salvation Army Church of Hagerstown.

She was a member of Funkstown American Legion Post 211 Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by a sister, Goldie May Jones of Hagerstown; a half-sister, Lucille Knode of Hagerstown; and 15 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dick Smith and Harry W. Smith.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Major Robert Henderson will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Donald S. Pryor

WOLFSVILLE, Md. - Donald S. Pryor, 68, of Wolfsville, died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000, at his home.

Born March 22, 1932, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Roy W. and Inez Reid Pryor.

He retired in 1994 after 30 years with F&C Distributing Co., Funkstown.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Funkstown.

He is survived by his wife, Harriet DeGrange Pryor; two daughters, Donna Witmer of Waynesboro, Pa., and Laura Kline of Smithsburg; a son, Mark A. Pryor of Smithsburg; two sisters, Jackie Huffer of Broad Run, Md., and Barbara Shimp of Pineville, La.; six grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Ricketts Funeral Home, 504 Main St., Myersville, Md. The Rev. Randall Reid will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mark's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Wolfsville.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Frederick County, P.O. Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702-0799.

Naomi Hann

READING, Pa. - Naomi "June" Hann, 75, a resident of Berksheim Nursing Home, Reading, Pa., and formerly of S. Second St., McConnellsburg, Pa., died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000, at the nursing home.

Born June 9, 1925, in Burnt Cabins, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Martha A. Horton Cornelius.

In her earlier life she was employed as a clerk and assistant manager for the A&P Store, McConnellsburg. Later she worked for AT&T, Frederick, Md., as an operator.

She is survived by three brothers, Luther Cornelius of St. Thomas, Pa., Robert Cornelius of Womelsdorf, Pa., and Ned Cornelius of Bethel, Pa.; seven sisters, Mary Peterson, Marian Seiders and Pauline Waters, all of McConnellsburg, Betty Kromer of Leesburg, Fla., Jean Louise Reynolds of DeBary, Fla., Delores Kathleen Lewis of Carrollton, Texas and Nancy C. Hockman of Hagerstown.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg. The Rev. George Cornelius will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
