Greg Henry, Kenny Smith and Tim Reeves each carded a 73 Saturday at the Beaver Creek Country Club Golf Course to share the first-round lead of the 17th annual Washington County Open Golf Championship.
Defending champion Finley Benjamin carded a 79.
The 36-hole WACO tournament concludes today. The final foursome tees off at 2 p.m.
The co-leaders all agreed the Beaver Creek Country Club course played tough, the greens were firm and the windy conditions made things more difficult.

"I made a nice save (for a bogey) on six, that's the reason I finished with a 73," the Beaver Creek Country Club member said. "I hit my tee shot into the water and had to hit over the water and above the trees on my second shot. Getting a bogey there was a big boost. I parred the rest of the holes."
