You are welcome to leave a recorded message on any subject, but some calls will be screened out.

Here are some of the calls we have received lately:

"I am calling because I am interested in knowing who the board members are of the Hancock Burial Association."

"I just came from the vehicle admissions inspection station on Thursday afternoon. One lane open, eight cars ahead of me. I sat there about five minutes nobody moved, so I figured five to six minutes per car. I am looking at 45 to 50 minutes, that was my engine running, wasting expensive gas to hand in $12. No thanks, I will go back some other time."

"I would like to respond to the Mail Call and the lady having the problem at the convenience store with the cigarette butts. I was there at the time and I think that the manager should be fired or have to give a written apology to this lady. This lady was very upset and she did not dump those cigarettes there. I was there pumping gas and I saw a van pull into that spot, empty out their ashtrays, four or five people in the van and they all dumped them out and a huge pile of cigarette butts was there. This girl got accused of doing it."

"I would very much like to comment on the person who called in and complained about the landlords having no regard to lousy driveways at mobile home parks. She is absolutely right. The landlord should make some repairs."

"Mary Mac, the lost German shepherd in the Huyetts and Clear Spring area, has been found. Mary Mack is home safe and sound. I would like to thank all the people that called us and let us know where she was."

"To the person who requested Ron Bowers to run for mayor. He can't run for the mayor of Hagerstown because he is a resident of Maugansville. Thank God for that."

"Ron Bowers for mayor that is great. If he ran for Democrat, It wouldn't matter to me. I would still vote for him. We can't do any worse than the one that is in office now. Great idea. Go Ron, go!"

"Someone asked how to get the Maryland Terp Tickets. You call 1-800-462-Terp."

"I want to wish my son Joseph a very happy 11th birthday on Saturdday and many many more. Love you, Joe."

"Every day I go to work and I pass all of these prostitutes hanging out at Washington and Prospect Street. From where Baer Foods used to be all the way up to The Women's Club. I saw four prostitutes and they were there three mornings this week. Now that is just a few blocks from the police department. I am sure that these people can be put off the streets and stop arresting the Johns. They make the money. It is time that Hagerstown is cleaned up of drugs and prostitutes. I am tired of all of these out-of-towners coming in and taking over our city. It is time that we stand up and fight and bring back our city to us and not the trash that is coming in. Come on police department and city, let's do something and quick before it is too late."

"I want to say a word of thanks and gratitude to my case worker Kristie. My name is Mark. I think I owe her this much by saying thank you."

"To Mr. McClure, are you just another politician trying to get all the attention and free publicity about the stadium? Do you have the taxpayers in mind when you say that we don't need a stadium, or are you just leading us down another path, like the other politicians? Show us which kind of politician you are."
