BLUE RIDGE LEAGUE
League championship set
The Hagerstown Braves and Chambersburg (Pa.) Rockies will meet in Game 1 of the league's best-of-7 final series tonight at 6 at Hagerstown Community College.
Game 2 will be Wednesday at 6 at HCC, and games 3-4 will be at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Henninger Field in Chambersburg. If necessary, Game 5 will be at HCC at 2 Saturday; Game 6 will be at Henninger at 2 Sunday and Game 7 would be at 6 Monday at HCC.

Valley 11, Federal 9: Joey Baer, Jay Shafer, and Matt Baer had two hits to lead Valley. For Federal, Jeff Wentzell had 10 strikeouts and Paul Widmeyer had two hits.
American 9, National 8: Billy Campbell had three hits and struck out seven to lead American. Chris Smith led National with three hits and Tyrell Wilson and Robby Suddith had two hits.
Sharpsburg 7, Maugansville 4: Tyler Marshall struck out seven to lead Sharpsburg. Branden Glazer struck out 12 and had two hits for Maugansville.
