Mail Call for 8/4

"I want to give a special thank you to Patty and Kim Reynor for the beautiful flower bed in front of the Funkstown Moose. When you see her, give her a thank you and tell her how pretty the flowers are."

"I want to know if someone has any information on any other electric company besides Allegheny Power? I heard that there was going to be another one, but I haven't heard about it. If there is, where can I get more information?"

"I am calling to wish my granddaughter Ashley a happy 16th birthday. From her Nan and Pap."

"After seeing what has happened to the tobacco industry being sued for billions of dollars. I would think that the liquor industry would be shaking in their shoes. But that will probably never happen. So what is wrong with this picture? Smoking cigarettes is a choice of an individual and the only other person they kill is themselves. Drinking alcohol is the choice of an individual that kills hundreds and thousands of innocent people. You would think that anyone who has lost a loved one, would file suit. That should wipe out the alcohol industry. But I don't think that will ever happen and I think we all know why."

"Thanks again to Patrick who went out of his way with kindness to help my family and I at Greenbrier State Park. Being a Christian I told Patrick that our Savior would bless him in a special way and for him to recognize it when it comes."

"Hagerstown Fairgrounds had the most beautiful fireworks I have ever seen. Why don't we have fireworks in the middle of winter when we all have cabin fever and then we will have something to do and other people would come out."

"Clear Spring Carnival is great. Huge crowds of people, lots of games, lots of rides. If you want to have some fun and meet some people, come to the Clear Spring Carnival."

"When are they supposed to get done the new courthouse? Antietam Street is such a mess, it feels like you are riding on railroad tracks or something."
