Covan World-Wide Moving


WILLIAMSPORT - Williamsport High School graduate Nick Diseati Jr. is marking his 10-year anniversary as a moving consultant with Covan World-Wide Moving Inc.

Diseati, a certified moving consultant, is based at the firm's Woodbridge, Va., service center where he is responsible for sales in the area including Baltimore and Washington, D.C.

Alzheimer's Association, Western Maryland Chapter


The Alzheimer's Association, Western Maryland Chapter, recently presented a seminar for health care professionals from Washington, Frederick, Allegany and Garrett counties on the Mini-Mental State Examination.

Dr. Edward P. Feher, neuropsychologist and chair of the association's Medical Scientific Advisory Committee, taught more than 50 people from adult day centers, residential facilities, government organizations and law enforcement agencies.

Partners in Pediatrics, at 303 W. Memorial Blvd. in Hagerstown, has announced several recent recipients of the Employee of the Month award. Tina Whitsel, April; Shellene Reed, May; and Jeff Singleton, June; were recognized for excellence in caring for both sick and well children.

The practice has also announced that Bunny Frontrier and Paula Souders have been hired as medical assistants.

Certified Public Accountant Tracy Grossnickle, who joined the firm in 1997 and has experience with taxes and audits, has been promoted to supervisor.

Certified Public Accountant Laura Petersen, who joined the firm in 1997 and specializes in taxes as well as audits and accounting for financial institutions, has also been promoted to supervisor.

Certified Public Accountant Jeff Bostian, who joined the firm in 1998, was promoted to advanced senior accountant.

Certified Public Accountant Susan Dunkerly, a business valuation consultant, was also promoted to advanced senior accountant.

Certified Public Accountant Ronald Peck, who joined the firm in November as a staff accountant, was promoted to senior accountant.

Brenda Smith, who joined the firm 1999, has also been promoted to senior accountant.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Chambersburg Hospital has announced its Employee of the Month winners for June and July.

Barrie Sheffler, of Chambersburg, the hospital's director of physical medicine, was recognized in June as a supportive, forward-thinking role model and mentor to the physical medicine staff.

Carol Baldwin, of Chambersburg, the hospital's pastoral care secretary, was recognized in July for doing her job in a professional, efficient and timely way.

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Waynesboro Hospital has announced its Employee of the Month winners for June and July.

Toni McMullen, of Fayetteville, Pa., a social worker in the Quality Review Dept., was recognized in June for continually demonstrating a caring attitude toward patients, family and staff.

Neva Fetterhoff, of Greencastle Pa., a Food and Nutrition Services employee, was recognized in July for working to make meals more enjoyable for patients.

MONT ALTO, Pa. - Holly Yingling, coordinator for community relations and communications at Penn State Mont Alto, has received an Award of Excellence from Consolidated Papers Inc. for the design, layout and production of the Penn State Mont Alto forest technology recruiting brochure.

The new brochure was nominated for the award by the Penn State University Publications Department at University Park.
