Brick thrower sought in Pa.

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police are looking for the person or people who threw a brick through a dining room window on the 7000 block of Golf Vista Drive between Monday night and Tuesday morning.

A brick was also thrown into a car windshield in the driveway at the home of John I. Noll, police said.

Compact discs are taken from vehicle

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Compact discs valued at $1,000 were taken from a borough woman's vehicle between Monday night and Tuesday morning, Chambersburg Police said.

Police said someone entered Della M. Blakey's 1996 Nissan Pathfinder while it was parked on Orchard Drive and took the compact discs and an automobile speaker.

Vehicle reported stolen in county

A 1999 Polaris four-wheeler was reported stolen Tuesday from the Potomac Fish and Game Club on Falling Waters Road near Williamsport, according to Washington County Sheriff's deputies.

Investigators estimated the loss at $6,000.

Vehicle break-ins reported in county

Several break-ins of vehicles have been reported.

- Someone broke into a 1999 Jeep Wrangler on Tuesday on Youngstoun Court and stole a stereo as well as part of the dashboard, Washington County Sheriff's deputies said.

- Hagerstown City Police were called to investigate the theft Monday or Tuesday of a CD player and faceplate from a 1988 Chevrolet Cavalier parked in the 400 block of Ridge Avenue.

The loss was estimated at $360, police said.

Cellular phones stolen in city

Two cellular telephones valued at $450 were reported stolen from Radio Shack in Long Meadow Shopping Center on Sunday, Hagerstown city police said.

Store personnel told police a man hung around the store for more than 90 minutes and refused any assistance offered by clerks. When he left, the phones were missing.
