Local roundup - Funkstown's Keyes locks up Post 202



FUNKSTOWN - Billy Keyes took a no-hitter into the seventh inning and Matt Allen hit a first-inning grand slam Sunday as Funkstown won for the 14th time in 17 games with a 6-2 win over Williamsport for an American Legion win.

Funkstown (9-2 in the second half, 22-8) added single runs in the fifth and sixth innings as Danny Fowler collected three hits, and Matt Johnson and Allen each had two hits.

Keyes (6-3), who struck out 13, also walked nine as he toosed a complete-game, one-hitter.

Clear Spring 19, South Mountain 13: Cory Shrader 4-for-4, including a triple, and Sean Colgen added three hits, including a home run to lead Clear Spring. Troy Hartle and Dustin Routzhan and Troy Hartle finished with three hits for Clear Spring while Bradley Jordan and Eric Ecton had two hits each. Bradley Etzler had two hits for South Mountain.

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Deron Crawford (5-1) threw a three-hitter and Mike Martin and Nate Reeser each went 3-for-4 with two RBI to lead the Braves (30-4) on Saturday.

Dan Cunningham hit a three-run homer and Kevin Crawford had two hits.
