Anna C. Wallech

Anna C. "Cass" Wallech, 83, of 544 George St. in Hagerstown, who died Sunday, July 2, 2000, is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth M. Wallech of Greencastle, Pa. and Mary A. Ricker of Hagerstown. She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Wallech; and two brothers, Daniel Poper and Charles E. Poper.

James C. Rockenbaugh

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - James Carroll Rockenbaugh, 51, of Martinsburg, died Tuesday, July 4, 2000, in Berkeley County, W.Va.

Born May 27, 1949, in Martinsburg, he was the son of John R. Rockenbaugh of Shepherdstown, W.Va. and Jacqueline Bowers Dailey of Inwood, W.Va.

He was a 1967 graduate of Martinsburg High School, and was a member of the National Honor Society. He attended West Virginia University.


He retired from DuPont.

He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

He was an Eagle Scout.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, M. Susan Rockenbaugh; two sons, Ivan James Rockenbaugh of Martinsburg and Adrian Keith Rockenbaugh of Pensacola, Fla.; a sister, Janice Merrick of Silver Springs, Md.; a brother, Jay Rockenbaugh of Martinsburg; two grandchildren; three nieces and a nephew.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Martinsburg Union Rescue Mission, 602 W. King St., Martinsburg, WV 25401; or to a charity of one's choice.

Arrangements are by Rosedale Funeral Chapel, Martinsburg.

Frances Fogle

DRY RUN, Pa. - Frances Fogle, 77, of 18774 Main St., died Tuesday, July 4, 2000, at Caledonia Manor Nursing Home in Fayetteville, Pa.

Born Sept. 22, 1922, in Waynesboro, Pa., she was the daughter of the late George Sr. and Viola Lamore Bingaman Fogle.

She attended Waynesboro schools.

She is survived by a brother, Gerald E. Fogle of Gardeners, Pa.; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth Pogue, Marylin Green and Betty Konodle; three brothers, George Fogle Jr., Alan Fogle and Richard Fogle; an infant sister; and an infant brother.

Graveside services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Green Hill Cemetery in Waynesboro. Pastor Robert Fitz will officiate.

There will be no public viewing.

Arrangements are by Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro.

Marianne L. Murray

HANCOCK - Marianne Lina Mehrmann Murray, 88, of Brent Street, died Tuesday, July 4, 2000, at Valley View Nursing Home in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

She was born June 27, 1912, in Berlin, Germany.

She and her husband owned and operated Marianne's Lunch; and Hancock News Agency and Bus Terminal.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard Murray; two sons, Peter Scherlinsky of State College, Pa. and Michael Murray of Hagerstown; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services will be private. Burial will be in St. Thomas Episcopal Cemetery, East High Street in Hancock.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home in Hancock.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 2015 Boyd Orchard Road, Martinsburg, WV 25401; or Alzheimer's Association of Western Maryland, 5 Public Square, Hagerstown, MD 21740.

Robert E. Hultsch

Robert E. Hultsch, 82, formerly of 2107 Jefferson Blvd., Hagerstown, died Tuesday, July 4, 2000, at Hampshire Center in Romney, W.Va.

Born March 23, 1918, in Wilmington, Del., he was the son of the late C. Ray and Helen Clewell Hultsch.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Brandenburg Hultsch, in 1994.

He worked for Serv U Vending in Hagerstown for 34 years.

He is survived by two sons, Robert C. Hultsch of Greencastle, Pa. and Edward P. Hultsch of Hagerstown; a sister, Grace Fawls of Chester, Pa.; two brothers, John Hultsch of Salem, N.J. and Morris Hultsch of Wilmington; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St. in Hagerstown. The Rev. Patricia L. Sebring will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Marie Kriz

GEORGETOWN, Texas - Marie Kriz, 92, of Wesleyan Nursing Home, and formerly of Hagerstown, died Monday, July 3, 2000.

Born Dec. 27, 1907, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Vaclav and Marie Kozak.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Kriz. They were married in 1931.

She worked as a bookkeeper and statistician for various companies.

She was of the Methodist faith. In Hagerstown, she had been an officer on her church board; active with the church fund-raisers; and a Sunday school officer.

She was a member of the Methodist Board of Child Care in Maryland.

She was a volunteer for the Red Cross; and was a member of Home Extension Homemakers Club.

She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Dahl of Georgetown; three grandchildren, Linda Bryan of Memphis, Texas, William Dahl of New Orleans and Thomas Dahl of Lake Victor, Texas; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Kozak and Joseph Kozak.
