Lillie M. Leasure

HANCOCK - Lillie Marie Leasure, 79, of National Pike, died Monday, July 3, 2000, at Western Maryland Hospital Center in Hagerstown.

Born April 5, 1921, in Morgan County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Howard and Ada Plank Spielman.

She was a homemaker.

She attended Mount Olivet Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ralph W. Leasure of Western Maryland Hospital Center; two daughters, Mary Truax of Hancock and Dorthy Silvers of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; two sons, Ralph Leasure of Berkeley Springs and Donald Leasure of Hancock; two sisters, Ella Miller of Winchester, Va. and Louise Lipscomb of Youngstown, Ohio; a granddaughter; three grandsons; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by a son, Lester Leasure.

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Mount Olivet Presbyterian Church, Exline Road in Hancock. The Rev. Phillip Unger will officiate. Burial will be in Greenway Cemetery in Berkeley Springs.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St. in Hancock, which will be open at 3 p.m. Visitation also will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the church.

Memorial donations may be made to Mount Olivet Presbyterian Church, 14253 Exline Road, Hancock, MD 21750.

Catherine E. Lushbaugh

Catherine Eilleen Lushbaugh, 77, of 11400 Stonecroft Court, Hagerstown, died Monday, July 3, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.

Born Nov. 12, 1922, in Bridgeport, Md., she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Dessie Smith Ridenour.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Ellsworth Lushbaugh, in 1978.

She was employed by E. J. Fennel Co., retiring in 1981. She also was employed by Downsville General Store.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Nalley of Sharpsburg and Cynthia Lushbaugh of Williamsport; a son, Richard Ellsworth Lushbaugh of Frederick, Md.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Ridenour Jr.

Graveside services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Josephine Benton will officiate.

There will be no viewing.

The family requests the omission of flowers.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Arrangements are by Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown.

James M. Pryor

DOWNSVILLE - James Michael Pryor, 43, of Downsville, died Saturday, July 1, 2000, at his home.

Born Feb. 12, 1957, in Hagerstown, he was the son of James R. and Ruth M. Harrison Pryor of Hagerstown.

He was a cabinet maker.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Smith of Johnstown, Pa.; a sister, Mary Ann Brewer of Apex, N.C.; a brother, Richard Pryor of Hagerstown; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery. Pastor Bill McPherson will officiate.

There will be no viewing.

Memorial donations may be made to Williamsport Ambulance Service, 30 W. Salisbury St., Williamsport, MD 21795.

Kenneth E. Wenger

PLEASANT HALL, Pa. - Memorial services for Rev. Kenneth E. Wenger, 51, of 8151 Orrstown Road, who died Saturday, July 1, 2000, will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Grimm Memorial Family Life Center in Upper Strasburg Church of God, 9578 Upper Strasburg Road, Upperstrasburg, Pa.

Anna C. Wallech

Anna C. "Cass" Wallech, 83, of 544 George St. in Hagerstown, died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

Born Nov. 24, 1916, in Waynesboro, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Frederick W. and Edna I. Lohman Poper.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wallech, in 1970.

She was a member of Salvation Army Chapel.

She was a member of Home League.

She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth M. Wallech of Greencastle, Pa. and Mary A. Rinker of Hagerstown; five sons, John L. Wallech and Benjamin B. Wallech, both of Hagerstown, Charles E. Wallech of Boonsboro, Arthur E. Wallech of Clear Spring and John A. Wallech Jr. of Maugansville; a sister, Virginia Boward of Hagerstown; a brother, Philip J. Poper of Marlowe, W.Va.; 25 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Salvation Army Chapel. Major Robert S. Henderson will officiate. Burial will be in Leitersburg Cemetery.

Visitation will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St. in Hagerstown.

Tammy L. Nalley

LYNCHBURG, Va. - Tammy Lynn Nalley, 20, of 1462 Tenbury Road and formerly of Maugansville, died Saturday, July 1, 2000, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Lynchburg.

Born March 15, 1980, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of William D. Nalley of Lynchburg and Debra Showe Burger of Panteo, Texas.

She was a 1998 graduate of Grace Academy in Hagerstown.

She was employed by Ericson Manufacturing in Lynchburg. Previously, she was employed by Food Lion in Smithsburg.
