Federal Little League

Kiwanis 14, Exchange 2: Justin Johnson had four hits, including a home run, to lead the Kiwanis. Harrison Hammond had three hits and Ben Poole, Lauren Houck, and Jeremy Wood added two hits. Adam Toasten had three hits for Exchange.

Halfway Little League

Lions 11, Redmen 2: Cameron Allen and Mike Larkin had two hits for the Lions. Eric Spielman had three hits for Redmen and T.J. Wallech and Aaron Hershberger added two hits.

American Little League

Eagles 11, Funkstown Legion 1: John Brandie tossed a one-hitter with six strikeouts and had two hits to lead Eagles. Adrien Love had the lone hit for Funkstown.


Elks 4, Thompson Concrete 1 (9 innings): Cadyn Robinson and Travis Kelley combined on a no-hitter with 20 strikeouts to lead Elks. James Scott had two hits. Jared Bussard and Danny Olson combined to strike out 19 for Thompson.

Clear Spring Minors

Orioles 17, Yankees 4: Corey Shrader had four hits for the Orioles. Allen Rager, Zach Leazier, Gabe Hirsh, and Keith Shoemaker had two hits for the winners, while Corey Sylvester led the Yankees with two hits.

Orioles 15, Yankees 5: Tim Alexander threw a two-hitter with 10 strikeouts to help the Orioles finish the season with a record of 19-0. Alexander, Cody McCarthy and Chris Penwell had two hits each. Robby Snyder had two hits, including a home run.

Valley Minor League

Pangborn 7, Rocky's 4: Mike Minnichbach had two hits for Pangborn and Kevin Tyler had two hits for Rocky's.

West End Minor League

Reds Plumbing 7, Western Enterprise 4: Joe Heacock and Jordan Lyman had two hits each for Red's Plumbing. Dillon Baker, Jawayne Santiago and Justin Morales had two hits for Western Enterprise.

Valley Little League

Dorsey Brothers 8, Rocky's 4: Jason Cross and Garret Delaney had two RBI for Dorsey Brothers. Tyler Mitchell and Dustin Davidson had two hits each for Rocky's.

Hagerstown Pony League

Jeter 5, Eagles 2: Josh Mitchell pitched a five-hitter, striking out nine, and added two hits for Jeter. Orland Dean and T.J. Bowser combined to strike out 11 for Eagles. Dean and David Warrenfeltz had two hits.

National Little League

AMVETS 16, FOP 7: Ryan Sipos had three hits to lead AMVETS. Marcellus Sumlin, Spencer Cromer and Zeke Ricketts had two hits each with one of Sumlin's being a home run. FOP's Matt Campbell had three hits, including a homer, and James Gordon added two hits.

Maugansville L.L.

Burkholder's Floor Covering 12, Brewer's Saab 0: Derick Wollaston pitched a two-hitter for Burkholder's and contributed two hits at the plate. Sean Guy had two hits, including the game-ending grand slam, and Daniel Jacobs and Shane Wollaston had two hits each.

Wash. Co. Babe Ruth

Cal Quinn 15, ProFab 9: Ryan Ommert struck out six and Wayne Fortney struck out four to lead Cal Quinn. Ommert had four hits, scored four runs and had three RBI. Fortney had three hits, including a double and a triple, scored four runs and knocked in two. Michael Riemenschneider had two hits and two RBI while Dustin Berklite added two hits.

For ProFab, Jake Maser drove in four runs and Shawn Hammond had three RBI. Maser, Hammond, Kyle Labe and David Gouff had two hits each.

West End Little League

VFW 8, Coca-Cola 2: Tanner Brown and Matt Murray had two hits for VFW.

Hagerstown Colt League

UAW 19, FOP 5: Matt Allen had four hits, including a home run, to lead UAW. Matt Tedrick, James Thomas, Brandon Ashby and Ryan Wingerd had two hits each.

South Mountain L.L.

Nationwide 15, Thompson's 0: Curtis Hrash had four hits and Matthew Byers had three hits to lead Nationwide. David Harman, Dylan Hamilton, and Tyler Walsh had two hits, with Harman adding a homer.

Maugansville Sr. League

Larry Allen 10, Hagerstown 0: Mike Brooks and Jarod Haupt combined on a one-hitter to lead Larry Allen. Haupt had three hits and Brooks, Justin Stewart, and Matt Hess all added two hits.

PONY League

Hagerstown Floors 9, Elks 7: Tyler Jones and Eric McPherson homered for Hagerstown Floors and Brent Toms added two hits. Nick Adenhart led Elks with two hits, including a home run.


Hagerstown Area Church League

Christ Reformed/St. James 8, Maranatha 7: Brad Moore led Christ Reformed/St. James with three hits and Jim Cooper added a home run. John Kennedy homered for Maranatha.

Christ Lutheran 17, Hagerstown Church of the Brethren 16: Curt Berry led Christ Lutheran with four hits, including two home runs. Mark Angle added four hits and Jeff Wilson had three. Joel Duffey had two hits for Hagerstown, including a home run.

Pinesburg/Hub City

Jerry's Sports/Adam's Pizza 17, Lynn's 12: Dewey Whitmore had four hits to lead Jerry's while Scott Remsburg homered. Remsburg, Rodney Young, Mike Green, Leon Allen, Denny Bryan and Mook Malloy had three hits apiece. Kevin Kretzer had two hits for Lynn's.

Eddie's/South End Tavern 15, Stouffer's 1: Kevin Breckridge had three hits, including two homers to lead Eddie's. Tony Wickless and Greg Petty added three hits.
