Donna L. Kline

BOONSBORO - Donna Louise Kline, 90, of 8507 Mapleville Road, died Saturday, June 17, 2000, at the Fahrney-Keedy Home near Boonsboro.

Born April 13, 1910, in Frederick Co., Md., she was the daughter of the late Rooklyn W. and Elsa Brandenburg Pryor.

Her husband, Herman David Kline, died March 23, 1980.

She had been employed at Fahrney-Keedy Home.

She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church at Locust Grove.

She is survived by a daughter, Betty L. Sheffler of Middletown, Md.; a son, Gale L. Kline of Boonsboro; six grandsons, and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Margaret Jane Kline and Thelma Grace Gildersleeve; four sisters, and seven brothers.

Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. The Rev. Blaine E. Feightner will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery, near Wolfsville, Md.

Pearl D. Fisher

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Pearl D. Fisher, 88, of 5532 Buchanan Trail West, died Friday, June 16, 2000, at Chambersburg (Pa.) Hospital.

Born July 28, 1911, in St. Thomas Township, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John W. and Edith Foust Defenderfer.

Her husband, Charles Robert Fisher, died April 14, 1978.

She was a homemake. She had worked at Mercersburg Shirt Factory for 20 years.

She was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church of Upton.

She volunteered with the Upton Community Improvement Association's Upton Festivals.

She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Braswell of West Moreland, Tenn.; a sister, Blanche Defenderfer of Five Forks, Pa.; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.

Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle. The Rev. Michael R. Brendle will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Lemuel D. Osborne Jr.

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Lemuel Dewitt Osborne Jr., 89, of 15725 S. Young Road, died Saturday, June 17, 2000, at Colton Villa Nursing Center.

Born Jan. 10, 1911, in Lyons, Ga., he was the son of the late Lemuel D. Sr. and Katherine Marie Godwin Osborne.

He was retired from Fairchild Industries in 1974.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred F. Osborne; a son, Lemuel Lee Osborne of Greencastle; a sister, Alice Musladine of Fort Bragg, Calif.; a brother, John Monroe Osborne of Winnsboro, S.C.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Lemuel D. Osborne; a sister, Marie Padgett; three brothers, George Osborne, Frontis Osborne and Patrick Osborne.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Rod Spaid will officiate. Burial will be in Broadfording Church of God Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
