David G. Kline

BOONSBORO - David Garry "Dave" Kline, 53, of 6346 Zittlestown Road, died Friday, June 16, 2000, at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, Md.

Born Jan. 10, 1947, in Boonsboro, he was the son of the late George William Kline Sr. and Gladys Rebecca Reeder Kline.

He was employed by Hagerstown Block Co. in Hagerstown and Poole and Sons Excavating in Middletown, Md.

He served in the U.S. Army.

He was a Protestant.

He was a member of American Legion Post 10 of Hagerstown and a former member of Moose Club of Frederick.

He is survived by a daughter, Alison R. Wampole of Hagerstown; a sister, Sandra J. Hann of Lynchburg, Va.; a nephew; and three granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by a brother, George W. Kline Jr.

Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro. Burial will be in Boonsboro Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mollie E. Rockwell

STAFFORD, Va. - Mollie E. Rockwell, 79, of Stafford and formerly of Berkeley County, W.Va., died Friday, June 16, 2000, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Va.

Born Jan. 20, 1921, in Berkeley County, she was the daughter of the late Abraham F. and Lottie Stevens Horner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Garfield Rockwell.

She is survived by a son, Max Rockwell of Stafford; a daughter, Maxine Cassidy of Schaumburg, Ill.; two sisters, Lottie Hose of Hagerstown and Evelyn Rockwell of Loysville, Pa.; a brother, Norman Horner of Bunker Hill, W.Va.; four granddaughters; and a great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Butts, and three brothers, Charles Horner, Wesley Horner and Earl Horner.

Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St. in Martinsburg, W.Va. Burial will be in Tomahawk Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Robert H. Fouch Sr.

HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Robert Henry Fouch Sr., 78, of Hedgesville, died Saturday, June 17, 2000, at his home.

Born Dec. 16, 1921, in Brownsville, he was the son of the late William A. and Katie Feaster Fouch.

He was a welder by trade, working for a number of years for his father-in-law, Earl Reid, at Reid's Welding Shop. Later, he went into business for himself as Bob's Welding.

He was a member of Providence Bible Church, where he served as a Sunday School superintendent and deacon. He also was a trustee of the church.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Bernadine May Reid Fouch; a daughter, Carolyn French; two sons, Robert H. Fouch Jr. of Martinsburg, W.Va., and John L. Fouch of Hedgesville; a half sister, Frances Hite; a half brother, H. Lee Fouch; four granddaughters; two grandsons; three great-grandsons; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, George W. Fouch, and two half brothers, Carroll A. Fouch and Hugh H. Fouch.

Graveside services will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Pleasant View Memory Gardens. The Rev. Frank Douty will officiate.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 2015 Boyd Orchard Court, Martinsburg, WV 25401.

Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg.

Ruth L. Rhodes

KEEDYSVILLE - Ruth Leota Rhodes, 79, of 18375 Mansfield Road, died Thursday, June 15, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.

Born Aug. 18, 1920, in McConnellsburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Jessie Sarah Mellot Keefer.

She is survived by three daughters, Geraldine Barnes and Faye Gatrell, both of Hagerstown, and Sarah Caruso of New Port Richey, Fla.; four sons, Lee R. Rhodes and Gerald S. Rhodes, both of Sharpsburg, Paul L. Rhodes of Fairplay and Donald R. Rhodes of Hagerstown; a sister, Maye Carbaugh of Pennsylvania; four brothers, Charlie Keefer, Reed Keefer, Wilbur Keefer and Robert Keefer, all of Pennsylvania; 17 grandchildren, including six whom she raised, Maureen Meyers of Boonsboro and Denise Lescalleet, Tina Aldridge, Ronnie Lee Mongan, Cynthia R. Blair and Tonya K. Poplin, all of Hagerstown; 50 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son; a sister, Alice Carbaugh; a brother, Lee Keefer; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Services will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. in Hagerstown. Minister Larry Weber will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mildred L. Miller

SHARPSBURG - Mildred Louise Knode Miller, 73, of 4853 Churchey Road, died Thursday, June 15, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.

Born July 30, 1926, in Keedysville, she was the daughter of the late Vernon M. and Reta I. Thomas Knode.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Sharpsburg.
