Wilbert A. Kidwiler

RANSON, W.Va. - Wilbert Aaron "Bill" Kidwiler, 84, of Ranson, died Thursday, June 15, 2000, in Ranson.

Born June 22, 1915, in West Virginia, he was the son of the late George Wilbert and Mary Medlar Kidwiler.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Kidwiler.

He was a farmer.

He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 120 of Martinsburg, W.Va.

He is survived by three daughters, Joanne Kidwiler of Ranson, Carole Ainsworth of Charles Town, W.Va. and Mary Bussard of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; a brother, Vernon Kidwiler of Bakerton, W.Va.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by five sisters, Mary Catherine Kidwiler, Bessie Mausetter, Lena Redding, Hazel McDonald and Thelma Collins; and three brothers, Frank Kidwiler, George Kidwiler and Jake Kidwiler.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Eackles-Spencer Funeral Home in Harpers Ferry. The Rev. Raymond Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens in Martinsburg, W.Va.

Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Paige G. Hershey

Paige G. Hershey, 34, of 922 The Terrace, Hagerstown, died Thursday, June 15, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.

Born Nov. 29, 1965, in Chambersburg, Pa., she was the daughter of Robert L. and Doris B. Glessner of Hagerstown.

She was a 1984 graduate of North Hagerstown High School, was student body president and received the Principal's Award. She was a graduate of Allegheny College of Maryland's Respiratory Therapy Program, and a 1994 graduate of Shepherd College.

She was formerly employed by Washington County Hospital as a staff respiratory therapist; and by Glessner Alarm and Communications.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She served on the boards of the American Heart Association; and Hagerstown Jaycees, for whom she was a two-time director of the Washington County Science Fair. She was active with the Washington County SPCA, was a past president of the board of directors, and instrumental in the capital campaign for a new building.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, John R. Hershey III; a son, John Holden Hershey; two brothers, Neal R. Glessner of Baltimore and Stephen A. Glessner of Frederick, Md.; a maternal aunt, Beverly A. Hajek of Waynesboro, Pa.; mother- and father-in-law, Jack and Anna Hershey; and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. D. Stuart Dunnan will officiate.

A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

There will be no viewing.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Humane Society of Washington County Building/Endowment Fund, 13011 Maugansville Road, Hagerstown, MD 21740.

Arrangements are by Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown.

Susan M. McKeever

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Susan M. Michajluk McKeever, 29, of 454 E. Baltimore St., died Wednesday, June 14, 2000, at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore from complications following childbirth.

Born Jan. 2, 1971, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Jay F. and Linda L. Addlesberger Michajluk of 12237 Williamsport Pike in Greencastle.

She was a 1988 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School; and a 1992 graduate of Messiah College in Grantham, Pa.

She was a learning support teacher at Waynesboro Area High School in Waynesboro, Pa. She previously taught at North Hagerstown High School.

She was a member of Antrim Brethren in Christ Church near Chambersburg, was a member of the choir; Antrim Vision Co. Drama Team; Praise and Worship Team; and secretary of Homebuilders Sunday School Class.

She was a member of the National Education Association.

She is survived by her husband, Scott W. McKeever, whom she married Oct. 15, 1994; a daughter, Elizabeth Susan McKeever at home; a brother, Scott D. Michajluk of Carlisle, Pa.; maternal grandparents, Martha and Leonard Addlesberger of Greencastle; paternal grandfather, Joseph F. Michajluk of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and aunts and uncles.

Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Antrim Brethren in Christ Church, 24 E. Kauffman Road in Chambersburg. The Rev. Ky Searcy will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Greencastle.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St. in Greencastle; and Sunday at 1 p.m. at the church.
