Ivaline M. Cline

Ivaline M. Cline, 75, of 8653 Downsville Pike, died Thursday, June 1, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.

Born Feb. 18, 1925, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late George Clayton and Josephine Urilla Sprecher Monninger.

She was a member of Evangel Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School class.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, George J. Cline; a daughter, Melinda M. Cowgill of Greencastle, Pa.; a son, Michael E. Cline, at home; a sister, Mary E. Wetzel of Hagerstown; a brother, Robert L. Monninger of Hagerstown; and a granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Myrtle V. Clopper, and four brothers, Frank E. Monninger, William H. Monninger, Howard L. Monninger and Lewis E. Monninger.


Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Evangel Baptist Church, 17922 Broadfording Road, Hagerstown. The Rev. Ernest W. Thompson will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 E. Antietam St. in Hagerstown, and Monday at the church one hour prior to services.


Marvin E. Frederick

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Marvin E. Frederick, 66, of Martinsburg, died Friday, June 2, 2000, at Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Born Nov. 10, 1933, in Mifflinburg, Pa., he was the son of Mabel Feehrer Frederick of Watsontown, Pa., and the late James Frederick.

He was a retired professional truck driver for Bonded Carrier Trucking Co., where he worked for 15 years. He was a substitute instructor for James Rumsey Technical Institute for the truck driving school. He also was a driver for the Heart Beat Tour Bus Co.

He served in the U.S. Air Force as a staff sergeant for the military police.

He was a member of Watsontown Masonic Lodge 401 A.F.&A.M., AARP, and Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Janey Cole Frederick; a daughter, Debra J. Thomas of Williamsport, Pa.; four sons, David A. Frederick of Pennsdale, Pa., Kenneth L. Frederick of Pottsgrove, Pa., Thomas E. Frederick of Stephens City, Va., and Roderick L. Frederick of Martinsburg; a brother, Richard Frederick of Watsontown; 21 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Andrew S. Frederick; a sister, Sandra Gass; and a granddaughter.

Services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Martinsburg. The Rev. Everett Powell will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery with military graveside services conducted by Veterans Combined Honor Guard of Martinsburg.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.


William J. Rawding Jr.

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - William J. Rawding Jr., 63, of Berkeley Springs, died Friday, June 2, 2000.

A viewing will be held Monday, June 5, and Tuesday, June 6, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home, 106 S. Mercer St., Berkeley Springs.
