American Little League

Eagles 7, Funkstown Legion 4: Mark Smith and John Brandi combined to pitch a four-hitter with 13 strikeouts to lead the Eagles. Patrick Barrow and Demetrius Stubbs nearly matched that for Funkstown, combining for a four-hitter and striking out five.

Wash. Co. Girls Softball

NAPA 20, Boonsboro Produce 12: Jessica Watters had five hits and Sara Austin added four to lead NAPA. Liz Barbas, Amanda Wolfe and Melissa Lloyd had two hits apiece. Wolfe threw a four-hitter to get the win.

NAPA 13, Randy's Paint 9: Katie Robison led NAPA with three hits. Liz Barbas, Laura Barbas, Amanda Wolfe and Brittany Churchey had two hits each.


Hancock Little League

Pirates 9, Tigers 6: Josh Ruppenthal struck out 11 and had two hits, including a homer, to lead the Pirates. Josh Hall and Jarret Trail added two hits. Danny Mock, Steven Mowan, and Chris Kerns had two hits for the Tigers.

Clear Spring Jr. League

Wilson Ruritan 11, Grosh's Lawn Service 6: Brandon Yost had three hits to lead Wilson. Joel Fitz and Tim High added two hits for the winners. Tommy Stottler had two hits for Grosh's.
