Audrey R. Albright

Audrey Ruth Albright, 77, of Colton Villa Nursing Home, and formerly of 11 W. Baltimore St., Potomac Towers, died Monday, June 5, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.

Born Feb. 6, 1923, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Ruth E. Rector Reynold.

She was a 1942 graduate of Hagerstown High School and attended Hagerstown Business College.

She was employed by Western Maryland Railroad as a railway clerk for 40 years, retiring 17 years ago.

She was a member of American Legion Morris Frock Post 42 Auxiliary and AARP. She was a past member of the Treble Clef Club.

She is survived by one brother, J. Thomas Reynold of DeBary, Fla.; one niece; and two great-nieces.

A memorial service will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Edward H. Heim will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.

There will be no viewing.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 141 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.

Frances L. Corwell

CLEAR SPRING - Frances Louise Corwell, 81, of 11836 Big Spring Road, died Sunday, June 4, 2000 at Washington County Hospital.

Born March 2, 1919, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Michael Ford and Sally Beachley Gower.

She was a 1937 graduate of Williamsport High School, and a 1941 graduate of Frostburg State Teachers College.

She taught at Pecktonville School, Wilson School in Conococheague, Williamsport Elementary School and retired from Clear Spring Elementary School.

She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Clear Spring.

She was a member of Maryland State Retired Teachers Association.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Roy Jack Corwell; one daughter, Emily Louise Knode of Clear Spring; one son, Keith Gower Corwell of Hagerstown; two grandsons; eight nephews, and one niece.

She was preceded in death by one son, Roy Charles Corwell; one sister, Margaret Coakley; and one brother, William L. Gower.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Donald E. Thompson Funeral Home, 13607 National Pike, Clear Spring. The Rev. R. Terrence Foor will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Clear Spring.

The family will receive friends today at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m.

Eleanor S. Isaacson

FAIRFIELD, Pa. - Eleanor "Sue" Shockey Isaacson, of 239 Station Road, and formerly of Blue Ridge Summit, Pa., and Florida, died Monday, June 5, 2000, at her home.

Born in Quincy, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Bruce I. and Nettie McCarney Shockey.

Her husband, David Isaacson, died Oct. 25, 1981. They were married July 16, 1963.

She was a homemaker. She had worked for Leiter's Department Store, Waynesboro, Pa.

She is survived by a sister, Virginia Rose of Waynesboro; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Ressler and Gladys Brown; four brothers, T. Mark Shockey, Lee Shockey, Bruce Shockey Jr., and Robert C. Shockey.

Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Burns Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro. The Rev. Christopher Frye will officiate.

There will be no public viewing.

The family requests the omission of flowers; memorial donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 13 E. Main St., Fairfield, PA 17320; or to Fairfield Ambulance Service, 108 Steelman St., Fairfield, PA 17320; or to the Fairfield Fire Co., 106 Steelman St., Fairfield, PA 17320.

Susan S. Cerceo

LEBANON, Pa. - Susan Sheckart Stanson Cerceo, of Lebanon, died Sunday, June 4, 2000, at York (Pa.) Hospital.

She was the daughter of Theodore M. and Edna R. Rutherford Sheckart of York.

She served as executive director of Child Care Programs with Lutheran Social Services - Eastern Region.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Red Lion, Pa.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Joseph A. Cerceo; two daughters, Kathryn Martin of Reading, Pa., and Amy Bucks of Mount Gretna, Pa.; and three grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 220 N. Charles St., Red Lion. The Rev. Anne-Rose Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in Falmouth United Church Cemetery near Elizabethtown, Pa.

There will be no viewing.

Memorial donations may be made to Lutheran Church of Red Lion Social Ministry, 220 N. Charles St., Red Lion, PA 17356; or to the American Cancer Society, 924-N Colonial Ave., York, PA 17403.

June E. Matthews

FALLS CHURCH, Va. - June Elizabeth Matthews, of Falls Church, and formerly of Martinsburg, W.Va., died Saturday, June 3, 2000, at Fairfax (Va.) Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Nellie Jamison Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew D. Matthews.
