May 26, 2000

"To the person who would like the cloudseeding planes again. Don't cry. You must want water restrictions like last summer."

"If anyone has found a tan jacket with a white zipper, please call 301-432-8363."

"I am looking for something that is probably impossible, for the editor or anyone who put out the Wednesday Journal back in the '80s. I am looking for the first one in December 1980. Please call into Mail Call."

"In regards to the pear trees downtown. One good reason to remove them is because some people have allergies to them and get closed up when they walk downtown. Unfortunately, some of the businesses I have to attend to are downtown and every time I have a reaction. Those trees need to go."

"Could someone please tell me when the Belview yard sale is? It is about a block long, plus it is a wonderful yard sale. I missed it last year and I would really like to know when it is this year."

"To the person who poisoned my dog. I think it was very rude. I have no idea who you are and I am sure that you will get paid back for it some day. Whoever you are, I hope you are very happy, because that was my daughter's dog and she is five years old. She is crying her eyes out. You know who you are and don't ever let me find out who this was."

"To all of you grandchildren of those dear ones in nursing homes and you go to visit them. If they don't remember you in their old age, just hold their hand and say I love you, take them a stuffed animal, give them a kiss and hug. I bet you will make them smile."

"I want to wish Megan a happy 12th birthday from her stepfather and mother. We want to let her know how much we love her and we are very proud of her."

"To David with all my love, I wish you a very happy 41st birthday, baby. Forever and ever, amen. From your baby. Love you."
