GAMBRILLS, Md. - Lane Strobel's bases-loaded triple highlighted a four-run second inning to lead Walkersville back to the Class 2A state baseball final with a 6-1 victory over North Harford at Arundel High School on Wednesday night.

Walkersville (20-2), the defending 2A champion, will play Towson in the title game at Joe Cannon Stadium on Saturday. Game time is still to be determined.

Alex Dub went 3-for-4, including an RBI single in the first that gave the Lions a 1-0 lead.

Walkersville starter Dustin Dreisonstok (7-1) struggled in the bottom of the first, walking three batters and surrendering a sacrifice fly that tied the score.

But Strobel's triple gave the Lions the lead for good in the top of the next inning. Strobel scored on a Pat Calloway single. Derek Krantz added a solo home run in the fourth.

Dreisonstok struck out six in five innings of work and Bill Auch threw two innings of one-hit relief.
