HUSTONTOWN, Pa. - A Hustontown man died after his 1986 Chevrolet Blazer hit a guardrail and he was thrown from the vehicle Tuesday night along Waterfall Road, according to Pennsylvania State Police in McConnellsburg, Pa.

Harry Hilton Hedge, 41, died of his injuries in the 10:35 p.m. crash, which police attributed to high speed and wet roads.

Police said Hedge, who wasn't wearing a seat belt, was westbound at a high rate of speed when he lost control on a curve and the Blazer skidded off the roadway and hit a guardrail.

The Blazer careened down a dirt slope, turned over once and came to rest against a tree. Hedge was thrown from the Blazer as it turned over and ended up between the Blazer and a tree, police said.
