CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police Wednesday charged a Chambersburg woman with having sexual intercourse with two foster children earlier this year.

The 24-year-old woman, whose name is not being used to protect the identities of the children, was charged with two counts each of statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and corruption of a minor, according to police.

She was to be arraigned before District Justice Larry Meminger at a later date, police said.

The affidavit of probable cause said the incidents occurred between Jan. 1 and April 13, mostly at the woman's home. The boys, both 14, had been placed in her foster care, police said.

One of the boys told police he had sexual intercourse with a woman 22 times during that period, police said.

The other boy said he had sexual intercourse with a woman at least 10 times, according to court documents.

Statutory sexual assault and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse are felonies. Corruption of minors is a misdemeanor, according to state law.

Police said Ricky Lynn Johnson, 34, of Greencastle, Pa., was taken into custody on Hykes Road in Antrim Township on Tuesday.

He was charged with fleeing and eluding police, recklessly endangering another person, criminal mischief and several traffic violations, the report said.

The pursuit occurred Oct. 11, 1999, when a trooper stopped a vehicle on U.S. 30 at Exit 6 in Chambersburg. When the trooper approached the gold 1986 Pontiac Grand Prix, the driver sped off, according to police.

Police chased the car to the Marion, Pa., area before the driver got away.
