Duttera-Holliway

Mr. and Mrs. Craig Duttera of Dover, Pa., announce the engagement of their daughter, Hannah Ruth Duttera, to William Duke Holliway, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Holliway of Hagerstown.

Miss Duttera is a 1993 graduate of Dover Area High School and a 1997 graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor of science degree. She is employed by Optimus Solutions of Norwood, Ga.

Mr. Holliway is a 1991 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. He earned a bachelor of science degree from Waynesburg College and a master's degree from Penn State University. He is pursuing a doctoral degree in chemistry at Georgia Tech.

A May 27 wedding date has been set in York, Pa.

McNamee-Sober

Joan and Donnie Rohrer and Brenda and Denny McNamee wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Karen J. McNamee to Gregory M. Sober, son of Terre and Gerald Sober of Baltimore.

Ms. McNamee is a 1990 graduate of South Hagerstown High School and received a bachelor of science degree in kinesiological sciences from University of Maryland. She is employed by the group benefits department of Thomas Associates L.L.P.

Mr. Sober is a 1992 graduate of Pikesville High School and attended Towson University. He is a certified personal trainer and is director of fitness with Personal Fitness/Country Club Fitness Inc.

A March 2001 wedding is being planned.

Hutchinson-Herold

Pamela Hutchinson and Raymond Herold wish to announce their engagement.

Ms. Hutchinson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Hutchinson of Sharpsburg. She is a 1984 graduate of Boonsboro High School.

Mr. Herold is the son of Leroy Herold of Hagerstown and the late Sarah Herold. He is a 1980 graduate of Boonsboro High School.

A Feb. 15, 2001, wedding is planned.

Potterfield-Johnston

Donna Lee Potterfield and Fred Lee Johnston wish to announce their engagement.

Ms. Potterfield is the daughter of Max Lee Kendall of Williamsport and the late Mary Eleanor Kendall. She is employed by William M. Neikirk Inc.

Mr. Johnston is the son of the late Robert Lee Johnston and Virginia C. Johnston. He retired from the State of Maryland Division of Correction where he served as a correctional officer major.

A Sept. 24 wedding is planned.

Miles-Missling

Mr. and Mrs. Glenn E. Miles of Hagerstown wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Cynthia J. Miles, to Todd A. Missling, son of Donald and Rhea Missling of Appleton, Wis.

Miss Miles is a 1982 graduate of Clear Spring High School. She is employed as a customer service representative and office manager with Amcor Flexibles of Hagerstown.

Mr. Missling is a 1982 graduate of West High School in Appleton and attended Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Appleton. He is employed as a press operator with Amcor Flexibles in Hagerstown.

Grimm-Phillips

Rodger A. and Vicki L. Grimm of Hagerstown wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Leslie Renee Grimm, to Andrew Wayne Phillips, son of Gary and Sandy Phillips of Williamsport.

Ms. Grimm is a 1994 graduate of South Hagerstown High School, a 1996 graduate of Hagerstown Junior College and a 1998 graduate of Shippensburg University with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. She is employed by Homewood Retirement Center as admissions coordinator.

Mr. Phillips is a 1994 graduate of Williamsport High School, a 1998 graduate of Shepherd College with a bachelor of science degree in business administration and accounting and is pursuing a master's degree in business administration at Mount Saint Mary's College. He is employed by Albright, Crumbacker, Moul and Itell as a staff accountant.

A June 2, 2001, wedding is planned.

Cavey-Dowe

John and Gwynne Cavey of Hancock announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Rebecca Cavey, to Mark Allen Dowe, son of George and Virginia Dowe of Myersville, Md.

Miss Cavey is a 1993 graduate of Hancock High School and received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Shepherd College in 1997. She is employed as a community health nurse by Frederick County Health Department and a staff nurse by Frederick Pediatric Associates.

Mr. Dowe is a 1990 graduate of Middletown High School and received a bachelor's degree in music performance from Shepherd College in 1996. He is employed as a mechanic by Clouse Trucking in Frederick.

A September wedding is planned.
