A night of folk music

KEARNEYSVILLE, W.Va. - Greg Greenway, Kim and Reggie Harris, Pat Humphries and Andrew McKnight will perform the music of folk legend Phil Ochs and some of their original recordings tonight at 8 at Almost Heaven Farm off W.Va. 9 and Opequon Lane in Kearneysville. The concert will be coffeehouse-style with tables, chairs and refreshments.

Bloodmobile rescheduled

The bloodmobile scheduled for Saturday, April 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Elks Lodge 378 in Hagerstown has been changed to Saturday, May 27, at the same location and time.


Baseball exhibit

FREDERICK, Md. - An exhibit, "Baseball - The Great American Experience" will open with Kids Day Saturday, April 29, from noon to 4 p.m. at Francis Scott Key Mall Ball Park in Center Court.

Frederick Keys Players will be on hand to sign autographs along with "Keynote." There will be a baseball and memorabilia show, and leaguers of all ages will be present.

Concessions will be sold to raise money for the Frederick County Babe Ruth League pitching cage.

The exhibit will be open during mall hours 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday.

The exhibit will close with a baseball auction Saturdy, May 6, at 2 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the local Babe Ruth League.
