Shirley A. Kroboth

Shirley Ann Kroboth, 57, of 17506 York Road, Hagerstown, died Friday, April 21, 2000, at Ephrata Community Hospital in Ephrata, Pa.

Born Jan. 21, 1943, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Thelma May Embly Hoke of Maugansville and the late Richard John Dagenhart.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kroboth Jr., in 1998.

She was a graduate of South Hagerstown High School.

She was employed by Corning Glass Distribution Center in Greencastle, Pa. for 23 years.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

She was a member of American Flint Glass Workers Union AFL-CIO where she served as a steward.

She was a former member of Halfway Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Joseph Kroboth III of Williamsport; stepfather, Robert Norman Hoke of Maugansville; three sisters, Pearl Virginia Williams of Texas, Thelma Jane Burral Banzhoff and Nancy Baker, both of Hagerstown; four brothers, Paul L. Butch Dagenhart of Hagerstown, Elmer L. Mick Dagenhart of Georgia, George William Burral of Boonsboro and David Willis Burral of Smithsburg; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles D. Dagenhart.

Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North in Hagerstown. The Rev. George A. Limmer will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Hagerstown.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 224 W. Washington St., Hagerstown, MD 21740; or Halfway Volunteer Fire Co., 11114 Lincoln Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21740.

Ella M. Hutzell

BOONSBORO - Ella Mae Hutzell, 76, of 101 Valley View Court, who died Friday, April 21, 2000, was preceded in death by her former husband, Charles Leon Hutzell, in 1994.

Lenora J. Robinson

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Lenora Jacqueline Hess Robinson, 63, of Martinsburg, died Friday, April 21, 2000, at the home of her daughter.

Born Jan. 3, 1937, in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of Devonna Mae Boltz Hess of Ranson, W.Va. and the late Gilbert McCormack Hess.

She was a graduate of Hedgesville High School.

She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 44 years, John Raymond Robinson Sr.; three daughters, Jacqueline Renee Custer of Winchester, Va., Sandra Alane Munson of Salley, S.C. and Sharon Elaine Munson of Martinsburg; a son, John Raymond Robinson Jr. of Martinsburg; five sisters, Pauline Adams of Ranson, W.Va., Helen Sakeman of Halltown, W.Va., Susie Hess and Beatrice Sine, both of Baker Heights, W.Va. and Peggy Jones of Martinsburg; a brother, Olin Hess of Martinsburg; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Martinsburg. Bishop James K. Fugate will officiate. Burial will be in Hedgesville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St. in Martinsburg; and, visitation also will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the church.
