Stop signs installed

New stop signs have been installed at an intersection near the new Centre at Hagerstown shopping plaza, according to the Hagerstown Engineering Department.

The signs are for traffic heading east on Broadfording Road and west on Hollyhock Road.

The signs are at the intersection of Broadfording Road, Hollyhock Road and the new Garland Groh Boulevard.




Weather permitting, clean up and paving work will be done on East Franklin Street in Hagerstown this weekend, according to the city Engineering Department.

One half of East Franklin Street is scheduled to be paved today.

The other half of the street is expected to be paved Saturday.

Motorists are advised to watch for altered traffic patterns and flag people.
