Howdershelt-Bradshaw

Gary E. Bradshaw and Tina M. Howdershelt announce their engagement.

Ms. Howdershelt is the daughter of William and Shirley Howdershelt of Morgantown, W.Va. She is a graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor of science degree in nutrition and completed a dietetic internship at Ruby Memorial Hospital of West Virginia University. She is employed with Western Maryland Hospital Center as the dietitian for the renal dialysis and rehabilitation units.

Mr. Bradshaw is the son of Gene and Phyllis Bradshaw of Warfordsburg, Pa. He is employed by Maryland K.C. Inc. of Forrestville, Md., and is a carpenter for the Washington, D.C. State Department.

A June 3 wedding is planned.

Richards-Conley

Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Richards of Needmore, Pa., wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Denise Elaine Richards, to Charles James Conley, son of Charles and Karen Conley of Hancock.

Miss Richards is a 1998 graduate of Southern Fulton High School and is enrolled at Shippensburg University, majoring in elementary education.

Mr. Conley is a 1996 graduate of Hancock Middle/Senior High School and is a 1998 graduate of Allegany College of Maryland with an associate of applied science degree in criminal justice. He is employed with Maryland Correctional Training Center in Hagerstown.

A wedding date has not been set.

Kendall-DeLauter

Jeffrey and Debra Kendall of Hagerstown and Robert and Christine DeLauter of Andover, N.Y., wish to announce the engagement of their children, Beth Ann Kendall and Adam Karl DeLauter.

Miss Kendall of Hagerstown is a 1999 graduate of Grace Academy and is attending Antietam Bible College, where she will major in Biblical studies, and Hagerstown Community College, where she will minor in art.

Mr. DeLauter of Sabillasville, Md., is a 1998 graduate of Grace Academy and is attending Antietam Bible College, where he will major in Biblical studies. He is employed as a land surveyor with Frederick, Seibert and Associates in Hagerstown.

An Aug. 25 wedding is planned.

Horst-Geer

Robert and Penny Horst of Clear Spring wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Beth Horst, to Robert Edward Geer, son of James and Barbara Geer of Mont Alto, Pa.

Miss Horst is a 1992 graduate of Clear Spring High School and a 1996 graduate of Shippensburg University. She is employed by Washington County Board of Education as a teacher.

Mr. Geer is a 1994 graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School and attended Penn State Mont Alto. He is employed by Truck Enterprise in Hagerstown.

A July 22 wedding is planned.

Robinson-Kauffman

David W. and Maria C. Robinson of Clear Spring wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Holly Ann Robinson, to Robert Warren Kauffman, son of Warren E. and Mary Jo Kauffman of Hagerstown.

Ms. Robinson is a 1998 graduate of Clear Spring High School. She is employed by Washington County Hospital as a certified nursing assistant.

Mr. Kauffman is a 1996 graduate of Clear Spring High School. He is employed by Mack Trucks Inc.

A Sept. 9 wedding is planned.

Nelson-Griffin

Barbara and David Nelson of Martinsburg, W.Va., wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Carrie Michelle Nelson, to Daniel Cord Griffin, son of Carol and Toby Butts of Hagerstown.

Ms. Nelson attended Martinsburg High School. She is employed by Red Lobster.

Mr. Griffin attended Martinsburg High School. He is employed by Bell Atlantic.

A Sept. 16 wedding is planned.

Kelley-Crooks

Steven Crooks and Tara Kelley wish to announce their engagement.

Ms. Kelley is the daughter of Bruce Kelley of Ravenswood, W.Va., and Twila Kelley of Williamsport. She plans to stay at home.

Mr. Crooks is the son of Brad and Shirley Crooks of Jonesville, La. He is employed by Freighthandlers Inc.

They will live in Falling Waters, W.Va.

A July 2 wedding is planned.

Johnson-O'Brien

Charity Lyn Johnson and Shaun Paul O'Brien wish to announce their engagement.

Ms. Johnson is the daughter of Donny and Yolonda Johnson of Frederick, Md. She is a 2000 graduate of ACE. She is employed as an assistant with Dr. Chris Borkman in Frederick.

Mr. O'Brien is the son of the Rev. and Mrs. Paul O'Brien of Hagerstown. He is a 1998 graduate of Washington County Career Studies Center. He is employed as an LTL lead supervisor over shipping at Tech Data in Frederick.
