Harold I. Lentz

ROUZERVILLE, Pa. - Harold I. "Ike" Lentz, 81, of 12147 Broad St., who died Tuesday, April 4, 2000, was preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine Lantz.

Margaret J. Smoke

Margaret Jane Smoke, 77, of 12 Walnut Towers, Hagerstown, died Wednesday, April 5, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.

Born Aug. 25, 1922, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late James Frederick and Ruby Grace Alexander Feigley.

Her husband, Harold Edward Harper, died in 1971.

She was formerly employed with E.J. Fennel.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one son, Rick Harper of Hagerstown; four sisters, Betty Delauter, Charlotte Sprecher, and Rachel Shoemaker, all of Hagerstown, and Nancy Baker of Boonsboro; and four brothers, Harold Feigley of Smithsburg, Ronald Feigley of Leitersburg, Kenneth Feigley of Hagerstown, and Elwood Feigley of Milwaukee.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Feigley.

Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Robert S. Barton will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Roy David Robinson

JAMES CREEK, Pa. - Roy David Robinson, 56, of James Creek, died Wednesday, April 5, 2000, at Chambersburg (Pa.) Hospital.

Born Feb. 14, 1944, in Martinsburg, W.Va., he was the son of the late Roy William and Jane Bitner Robinson.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era.

He was a counselor for Youth Forestry Camp.

He was a member of VFW Post 1599.

He is survived by his former wife, Elaine De Flaun of Shippensburg, Pa.; one daughter, Heather Robinson Brode of Shippensburg; one son, David T. Robinson of Chambersburg; one sister, Elva Jane Taylor of Martinsburg; four brothers, Howard Robinson of Edgewater, Fla., and Robert W. Robinson, James R. Robinson, and Andrew E. Robinson, all of Martinsburg; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Rosedale Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Rosedale Funeral Chapel.

Charles W. Barrett

HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Charles W. Barrett, 92, of Hedgesville, died Wednesday, April 5, 2000, at Valley View Nursing Home in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

Born Sept. 26, 1907, in Bedington, W.Va., he was the son of the late Charles and Susie Barrett.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lydia Snyder Barrett.

He was a self-employed contractor.

He was a member of Allensville Church of the Brethren.

He is survived by three nieces, Hilda Kettering and Barbara Jones, both of Hedgesville, and Agnes Roderick of Portland, Maine.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Barrett and Bill Barrett.

Services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St. in Martinsburg. The Rev. Charles W. Green will officiate. Burial will be in Hedgesville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sallie E. Rich

WALKERSVILLE, Md. - Sallie E. Rich, 76, formerly of Walkersville, died Wednesday, April 5, 2000, at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Mount Airy, Md.

Born Jan. 11, 1924, in Big Pool, she was the daughter of the late Richard Alvey and Cora Ellen Swandel Mills.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Orben Francis; and by her second husband, Dan Rich.

She worked at Asbury Methodist Village in Gaithersburg, Md., as a certified nursing assistant for 29 years.

She is survived by one daughter, Gloria Jean Lease of Mount Airy; one son, Jerry Lee Francis of Washington; two sisters, Frances Virginia Hottinger of Germantown, Md., and Ina Mae Oden of Middlebrook, Md.; eight grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pleasant View Nursing Home, 4101 Baltimore National Pike, Mount Airy, MD 21771.

Ralph C. Brunner Sr.

WILLIAMSPORT - Ralph Charles Brunner Sr., 80, of 933 Maryland Ave., Hagerstown, died Thursday, April 6, 2000, at Homewood Retirement Center in Williamsport.

Born March 2, 1920, in Cavetown, he was the son of the late Tyson and Elsie Victoria Smith Brunner.

His wife, Mary Ruth Soulders Brunner, died in 1986.

He retired from Mack Trucks after 22 years. He previously was employed by Fairchild Corp.

He was a Protestant.

He was a former member of Hagerstown Moose Lodge 212.
