Helen M. Burns

BOONSBORO - Helen M. Burns, 72, of 15 Della Lane, who died Tuesday, March 28, 2000, received a bachelor of arts degree in education from Salem College in Salem, W.Va., in 1947.

Orville C. Hays Sr.

WILLIAMSPORT - Orville Charles Hays Sr., 83, of 11115 Kemps Mill Road, who died Monday, March 27, 2000, was the son of the late George Paul Sr. and Gail Marie Yeats Hays.

Reginald O. A. Keyes Jr.

Reginald O. A. "Junnie" Keyes Jr., 70, formerly of Hagerstown, died Monday, March 27, 2000, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg, W.Va.

Born Jan. 22, 1930, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Reginald O. A. Sr. and Cecelia Keyes.

He graduated from North Street School.

He worked for the Washington County Department of Health.

A veteran of the Korean War, he served in the U.S. Army. He was awarded the Korean Service Medal with two bronze stars.

He was a member of Bethel AME Church in Hagerstown.

He was a member of the American Legion in Greencastle, Pa.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Keyes; three daughters, Patti Hawkins, Aretha Williams and Madelyn Colbert, all of Chambersburg; three sons, Reginald Keyes III of Frederick, Md., Rodney Keyes and Johnny Fillkill, both of Chambersburg; two sisters, Lorraine Miller of Harrisburg, Pa. and Cora Thompson of Chambersburg; a brother, William F. Keyes Sr. of Hagerstown; grandchildren; nieces; nephews; uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Delores.

Graveside services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Leroy Jackson will officiate.

There will be no viewing.

Arrangements are by Watson Funeral Home, 24 W. Bethel St., Hagerstown.

Ruth H. Moulden

CHEWSVILLE - Ruth H. Moulden, of Chewsville, died Tuesday, March 28, 2000, at Avalon Manor Health Care Center in Hagerstown.

Born in Reading, Pa., she was the daughter of William J. and Bertha A. Heckman Heinzman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry S. Moulden, in 1978.

She was employed by McCrory Store Corp. in Reading; and Hays Inc. in Hagerstown.

She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Chewsville, and Friendly Circle Sunday School Class.

She was a member of Ladies Elks 378; Ladies Auxiliary of Morris Frock Post 42, both of Hagerstown; Senior Citizens Club of Chewsville; and travel clubs.

Private graveside services will be held at Chewsville Cemetery. The Rev. John W. Schildt will officiate.

There will be no viewing.

Memorial donations may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 37, Chewsville, MD 21721.

Elizabeth F. Coble

FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Elizabeth F. "Libby" Coble, 90, of Piney Mountain Retirement Community, and formerly of 2338 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, Pa., died Tuesday, March 28, 2000, at Piney Mountain.

Born Feb. 2, 1910, in Waynesboro, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Ira G. Sr. and Clara Belle Hess Haugh.

She was preceded in death by her husband, G. Miller Coble Sr., in 1996.

She had worked for O.W. Kaufman, D.D.S.; and Waynesboro Hospital.

She was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she was a volunteer for Child Evangelism. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Chambersburg, and was active in the women's organizations.

She is survived by five stepdaughters, Miriam Hartzell of Baltimore, and Jane Rice, Annie Tanner, Nancy Barnhart and Lorraine Yeager, all of Chambersburg; a stepson, George M. Coble Jr. of Spring Run, Pa.; three sisters, Marguerite Keckler, Lucille Cunningham and Leona Martz; two brothers, Francis E. Haugh and Donald C. Haugh, both of Waynesboro; 15 stepgrandchildren; 20 stepgreat-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters; four brothers; and two step-grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Salem Lutheran Church, 99 Miller Road in Chambersburg. The Rev. Warren C. Heintzleman will officiate. Burial will be in Coble's Cemetery in St. Thomas, Pa.

Visitation will be Friday at noon at the church.

Margaret M. Creager

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Margaret Muth Creager, 84, of 14278 Charmian Road, died Wednesday, March 29, 2000, at Chambersburg (Pa.) Hospital.

Born June 3, 1915, in Charmian, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Lewis F. Sr. and Viola Birely Muth.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Hawley Memorial Presbyterian Church in Blue Ridge Summit, Pa.; and Jacob's United Church of Christ in Harbaugh Valley, Pa. Earlier, she sang in the church choirs; and was a member of Ladies Guild.

She was a member of Blue Ridge Sportsman Association in Blue Ridge Summit.
