Nicole Rose Brooks and William Allen Myers III wish to announce their engagement.

Ms. Brooks is the daughter of Pamela and Lawrence Breakenridge of Hoffman Estates, Ill. She will graduate from Roosevelt University in December with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is employed as an autistic therapist with Illinois School District 15.

Mr. Myers is the son of Shirley and Kenneth Dennis of Hagerstown. He is a 1991 graduate of Frostburg State University with a bachelor of science degree in political science. He is employed as location general manager for CarMax Autosuperstores Inc. in Naperville, Ill.

A summer 2001 wedding is planned.




Dora A. Deibert and Brian B. Mills of Hagerstown wish to announce their engagement.

Miss Deibert is the daughter of Dave Deibert of Williamsport and Virginia Deibert of Hagerstown. She is a 1990 graduate of South Hagerstown High School and a 1995 graduate of Hagerstown Business College. She is employed as an administrative assistant at The Impact Group Advertising Agency.

Mr. Mills is the son of Lynn Poe of Hagerstown and Mr. and Mrs. Chris R. Mills of Clear Spring. He is a 1990 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and served six years in the U.S. Army. He is employed as an extrusion operator at GBC Film Products in Hagerstown.

An April 14, 2001, wedding is planned.




Mr. and Mrs. John E. Martin Jr. of Smithsburg wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Anne Martin, to Richard Anthony Aversa Jr., son of Mrs. Florence Aversa of Baltimore and the late Richard A. Aversa Sr.

Miss Martin is a graduate of Smithsburg High School and Towson University. She works in Ellicott City, Md., as school director and an instructor at Kinetics Dance Theatre. She also is employed in public relations and marketing by Taylor Health Systems.

Mr. Aversa is a graduate of Calvert Hall College. He is employed by Bell Atlantic Mobile as manager of operations in Timonium, Md.

A June 2001 wedding is planned.




Jaime McMillan and Wesley Horst wish to announce their engagement.

Ms. McMillan is the daughter of David and Barbara McMillan of Herminie, Pa. She is a 1995 graduate of Yough High School, received a bachelor of arts degree in international studies from Messiah College in 1999 and is pursuing a master's degree in linguistics at University of Pittsburgh. She is employed as a teacher at the university's English Language Institute.

Mr. Horst is the son of Thomas and Nancy Horst of Maugansville. He is a 1994 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and a 1999 graduate of Messiah College with a degree in mechanical engineering. He is pursuing a career in engineering in the Pittsburgh area.

They will be married July 22 in Pittsburgh.




Mr. and Mrs. George W. Woods of Hagerstown announce the engagement of their son, Chad Ashley Woods, to Mary Lauren Mobilio, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terrance C. Mobilio of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Ms. Mobilio will graduate from Salisbury State University in May with a bachelor of science degree in nursing.

Mr. Woods is a 1995 graduate of Williamsport High School, a 1999 graduate of Salisbury State University and is pursuing a master's degree at University of Kentucky.

An Oct. 14 wedding date has been set.




Julie Marie Southard and David Gilbert Sanders wish to announce their engagement.

Ms. Southard is the daughter of Nelson and Joyce Southard of Martinsburg, W.Va. She is a 1993 graduate of Martinsburg High School. She is employed by Citicorp.

Mr. Sanders is the son of the late Ronald and Arnette Sanders. He is a 1990 graduate of Smithsburg High School. He is employed as a Washington County Sheriff's deputy.

A July 15 wedding is planned.
