Jorge L. Solano Jr.

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Jorge Luis Solano Jr., 36, of Charles Town and formerly of Herndon, Va., died Friday, March 17, 2000, at his home.

Born April 21, 1963, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of Jorge L. Solano Sr. of Costa Rica and the late Patricia Eggleston Solano.

He was employed at Cadelora's in Purcellville, Va.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Maureen Bell Solano of Charles Town; a stepson, E.J. Houchins of Charles Town; a sister, Cindy Leathery of Miami; and three brothers, Brad Leathery of Damascus, Md., Jeffrey B. Solano of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., and Rodney D. Solano of Fairfax, Va.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Chip Leathery.

A memorial service will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Eackles-Spencer Funeral Home, 970 Washington St. in Harpers Ferry. The Rev. Douglas Fraim will officiate.

Caleb A. Weigle

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Caleb Aaron Weigle, infant son of Shaye Michael Palmer and Angela Dawn Weigle of Martinsburg, died Friday, March 17, 2000, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.

He was born March 17, 2000.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Savannah Dawn Weigle at home; two brothers, Tristin Leslie Weigle and Shaykwon Cole Weigle, both at home; grandparents Gary and Elizabeth Weigle and Barry and Bonnie Sue Welty, all of Martinsburg; a great-grandmother, Catherine Medler of Martinsburg; a great-great-grandmother, Mazie Payne of Martinsburg; aunts; uncles; and cousins.

Graveside services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Babyland in Pleasant View Memory Gardens. The Rev. Kenneth L. Reed will officiate.

Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg.

Pamela G. Revis

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Pamela Gene Revis, 51, of Bloomery Road, died Friday, March 17, 2000, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Ranson, W.Va.

Born Oct. 31, 1948, in Fairmont, W.Va., she was the daughter of Nina Rudd Saunders of Charles Town and the late Emil G. Bias.

She was a graduate of Fairfax, Va., High School.

She was a homemaker.

She was a Protestant.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Bryan P. Revis of Lehigh Acres, Fla., and Jason A. Revis of Rapid City, S.D.; two sisters, Kimberly Hardison of Purcellville, Va., and Susan C. Yoder of Martinsburg, W.Va.; a stepsister, Sandra Dyer of DeLuth, Ga.; a stepbrother, Alfred Don Saunders Jr. of Melbourne, Fla.; and two step-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the home of her mother, Nina Saunders, 407 E. Liberty St. in Charles Town.

Burial will be in Edge Hill Cemetery in Charles Town.

There will be no visitation.

Arrangements are by Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home in Charles Town.

Frances E. Gant

WINCHESTER, Va. - Frances Edmonia Gant, 81, of Winchester and formerly of Bunker Hill, W.Va., died Friday, March 17, 2000, at Winchester Manor.

Born Feb. 2, 1919, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Floyd C. and Annie Williams Dorman.

She was a member of Mount Tabor Baptist Church in Bunker Hill.

She is survived by a sister, Betty Jackson of Winchester, two nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Cornelia Grimes.

Services will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St. in Martinsburg. The Rev. Arthur Patterson and the Rev. Peter Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mary E. Witmer

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Mary E. Witmer, 91, of Manorcare Health Services and formerly of 335 Wayburn St., Greencastle, Pa., died Friday, March 17, 2000, at Manorcare.

Born Dec. 10, 1908, in St. Thomas, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Crissey O. and Mary Esther Shatzer Ehrhart.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Barton Witmer, in 1977.

She was a member of Church of the Brethren in Greencastle.

She is survived by a son, Owen B. Witmer of Greencastle; and a brother, Oscar Ehrhart of Waynesboro, Pa.

She was preceded in death by nine sisters and brothers.

Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, 297 Philadelphia Ave. in Chambersburg. The Rev. Robert Thacker will officiate. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery.

There will be no viewing; however, the family will receive friends Tuesday at noon at the funeral home.

The family requests the omission of flowers.

Jeanette B. Shepperson

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Jeanette Belle Shepperson, 94, of Martinsburg, died Saturday, March 18, 2000, at Heartland of Martinsburg.

Born Feb. 16, 1906, in Prince Edward Island, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Mame Campbell Saunders.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Russell Shepperson.

She is survived by a daughter, Diane C. Rouss of Martinsburg; a son, Philip S. Shepperson of Westwood, Mass.; four sisters, Catherine Barlow of Westwood and Martha Vickerson, Irene McNeil and Martha Gillis, all of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island; a brother, Philip Saunders of Prince Edward Island; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, David S. Shepperson.

Services and burial will be private at Oak Hill Cemetery in Newburyport, Mass.

Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg.
