Drug indictments name 22

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Twenty one Eastern Panhandle residents and a Philadelphia man were named in nine indictments listing dozens of charges of possession and distribution of cocaine, marijuana and heroin Thursday.

The indictments were handed up by a federal grand jury sitting in Martinsburg, said Melvin W. Kahle Jr., the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of West Virginia.

Indicted on cocaine charges were:

* Michael Eugene Jones, 22, of 122 South West St., Charles Town, W.Va.

* Kevin Travis Costello, 22, of Kearneysville, W.Va.

* Lawrence Morris, 21, of Ranson, W.Va.

* Armistead Craig, 20, no address available.

* Tracey Fields, 30, no address available.

* John Hosby, 41, no address available.

* Vincent Nelson, 34, of 112 Ranson Estates, Ranson.


* Paul Montgomery, 40, Blutt Lane, Keyes Ferry Acres, Harpers Ferry, W.Va.

* Leon Tobias Yancey, 24, Martinsburg.

* Clyde Lewis Morris Jr., 29, Martinsburg.

* Christopher Matthew Ashton, 24, 208 Mountain View Drive, Martinsburg.

* William M. Greene Jr., also known as William Brown, 26, Martinsburg.

* Aaron Maurice Lee, 20, 302 Garden Drive, Apartment 301, Martinsburg.

* Jason Damion Harris, also known as Richard Foster, Philadelphia, Pa.

* Tracy Videl King, 37, Old Daniels Road, Jefferson County, W.Va.

* Joseph L. Reese, 25, 909 Shaffer Drive, Falling Waters, W.Va.

* Derrick Darnell Tigney, 22, 236 Raleigh St., Martinsburg.

* Arthur Lee Hairston Sr., 44, Martins Landing Apartment, Martinsburg.

* Arthur Lee Hairston Jr., 21, 2098 English St., Martinsburg.

* Travis Scott Green, 21, Shepherdstown, W.Va.

* Victor Randolph Lewis Hamilton, Jr., 21, Shepherdstown.

Charged with possession of heroin was Christopher E. Livengood, 27, 601 Warm Springs Ave., Martinsburg.

Jones, Costello, Morris, Craig, Fields, Hosby, Nelson, Montgomery, King, Livengood, Arthur Lee Hairston Sr., Arthur Lee Hairston Jr., Greene, Hamilton, Yancey, Morris, Ashton, Harris and Lee also were charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine.

Yancey was also charged with possession of heroin and possession with intent to deliver heroin, distribution of heroin plus aiding and abetting in distributing cocaine.

Ashton was charged with aiding and abetting in distributing cocaine.

Montgomery and Reese were also charged with carrying a firearm in relation to a drug crime.

Green, Lee, Harris, Fields, Craig, Jones, Montgomery, Morris and Hosby were charged with aiding and abetting the delivery of cocaine.

Arthur Lee Hairston Jr., was also charged with manufacturing cocaine.

Costello was also charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.

Montgomery was also charged with possession of marijuana.
