Ashley N. Hobbs

BUNKER HILL, W.Va. - Ashley Nicole Hobbs, infant daughter of Ace Kretzer and Emily Marie Hobbs of Bunker Hill, died Tuesday, March 7, 2000, at City Hospital in Martinsburg, W.Va.

She was born March 7, 2000, in Martinsburg.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandparents, William Hobbs and Rose Cole.

Graveside services will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Pleasant View Memory Gardens. The Rev. Eddie H. Edmonds will officiate.

Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg.

Enda P. Sigler

Arrangements for Edna Pauline Sigler, 85, of 216 Nottingham Road, Hagerstown, who died Friday, March 10, 2000, are by Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown.

Edith N. McDaniel

INWOOD, W.Va. - Edith Normi McDaniel, 78, of Inwood, died Friday, March 10, 2000, at her home.

Born Sept. 13, 1921, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Alexander R. and Henrietta Miller Stilwell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce W. McDaniel.

She is survived by two sisters, Edna Ashton of Shanghai, W.Va., and Ella Lee Brindle of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Guy Stilwell, Augustus Stilwell, Raymond Stilwell and Richard Stilwell; two half sisters, Mary S. Lamp and Abigail Auchey; and five half brothers, Autiff Stilwell, Wade Stilwell, Hugh Stilwell, Arley Stilwell and Dudley Stilwell.

Graveside services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Rosedale Cemetery. Irvin Shultz will officiate.

Ella L. Smith

WILLIAMSPORT - Ella Lauree Smith, 94, of 16505 Virginia Ave., died Friday, March 10, 2000, at Homewood Retirement Center.

Born in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late William Edward Charles and Annie Virginia Neikirk Reichter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton R. Smith, in 1998.

She was a teacher at Broadway Elementary School.

She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Williamsport.

She was a volunteer with American Red Cross, Washington County Museum and Washington County Hospital Auxiliary.

She is survived by two nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary E. Gross, Edna C. Reichter and Mae R. Brand, and two brothers, Charles Reichter and Edward Reichter.

Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Rest Haven Cemetery in Hagerstown. The Rev. W. Gregory Martin will officiate.

There will be no viewing.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 35 W. Potomac St., Williamsport, MD 21795.
