Doris E. Moore

CASCADE - Doris E. Moore, 80, of 25407 Military Road, died Tuesday, March 7, 2000, at the home of her daughter, Vicki L. Sanders of Cascade.

Born Feb. 11, 1920, in Cascade, she was the daughter of the late Walter J. Olsen and Zula H. Eyler.

She was a 1938 graduate of Smithsburg High School. She attended Waynesboro Business College.

She was a member of Germantown Church of God in Cascade.

She was a waitress at McClain's Diner, a clerk at Bob Eyler's Store, and was self-employed making custom made draperies for more than 20 years.

She was a member of Blue Ridge Sportsmen's Club.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Moore, whom she married Sept. 29, 1940; two daughters, Bonnie L. Hayman of Centreville, Va., and Vicki L. Sanders of Cascade; two sons, Frank O. Moore Jr. of Kirkland, Wash., and Shawn L. Moore of San Diego; one sister, Undine Bennett of Ocean Pines, Md.; three brothers, Richard Olsen and Thomas Olsen, both of Cascade, and Everett Olsen of Thurmont, Md.; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Winifred Olsen; and a daughter, Kittie S. Brown.

A memorial service will be held today at 7 p.m. at Germantown Church of God in Cascade. Pastor Paul Tobias will officiate.

There will be no viewing; the family will receive friends following the service.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 101 E. Baltimore St., Hagerstown, MD 21740; or Germantown Church of God, 16924 Raven Rock Road, Cascade, MD 21719.

Arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home in Smithsburg.

Pearl E. Warren

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Pearl E. Reed Warren, 88, of 224 S. Church St., died Tuesday, March 7, 2000, at her home.

Born Sept. 12, 1911, she was the daughter of the late John Elmer and Sarah Elizabeth Cashman Reed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Guernon C. "Jack" Warren, in 1988. They were married Dec. 20, 1947.

She had been employed as a machine operator at Landis Machine Co. in Waynesboro; was a nurse's assistant in Dr. Harmon's Chiropractic Clinic in Hagerstown; and prior to retiring in 1976 was a home health aide in the Waynesboro area.

She was a member of Wayne Heights Brethren Church in Waynesboro.

She was a past member of Waynesboro Chapter of the National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Club. She volunteered at Quincy United Methodist Home in Quincy.

She is survived by a daughter, Christine Smith of Hapeville, Ga.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a niece and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Laura Elizabeth Wetzel and Grace Eva Sanders.

Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St. in Waynesboro. The Rev. Harold W. Walton will officiate. Burial will be in Harbaugh Church Cemetery in Rouzerville, Pa.

The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Frances M. Jenkins

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Frances M. Jenkins, 70, of 11951 Oakton Drive, died Wednesday, March 8, 2000, at Waynesboro Hospital.

Born Oct. 11, 1929, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late William Collier and Lillian Irene Siegrist Jenkins.

She was a graduate of Quincy High School. She attended American University in Washington, D.C.

She was employed as a data processor at A.H. Robins Pharmaceutical Co. in Richmond, Va., retiring in 1990.

She attended St. Andrew Catholic Church in Waynesboro.

She is survived by cousins.

Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St. in Waynesboro. The Rev. Thomas J. Hemler will officiate.

Private burial services will be held at the convenience of the family at Quincy Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Priscilla L. Ray

PHILADELPHIA - Priscilla Lindsay Walker Ray, 59, of Inglis House, 2600 Delmont Ave., died Monday, March 6, 2000, at Inglis House.

Born April 29, 1940, in Coatesville, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Richard Lindsay and Eleanor Marie Carmen Walker.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Lee "Robbie" Ray Jr., whom she married April 29, 1996; and a brother, Richard Walker Jr. of Charlotte, N.C.

Services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St. in Waynesboro, Pa. The Rev. Charles B. Jessen will officiate. Burial will be in Grindstone Hill Cemetery in Chambersburg, Pa.

The family will receive friends Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Faye L. Webber

FOREST PARK, Ohio - Faye L. Bower Webber, 73, of Forest Park, died Tuesday, March 7, 2000.

She was born in Hagerstown.

She was a graduate of North Hagerstown High School.
