Applicants sought for exchange program

The Group Study Exchange Program of the Rotary International Foundation is open to Tri-State residents between the ages of 25 and 40.

Rotary officials will select four people to study the culture of Kazakhstan for four weeks beginning in September.

Applicants cannot be Rotary members or directly related to Rotary members. They must have been employed in their profession for at least two years and must live in the Rotary district, which includes Washington, Allegany and Garrett counties in Maryland, south-central Pennsylvania and West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle.

Each application, which can be downloaded from www.rotary.org, must be endorsed by a local club and submitted by March 15.

Interviews will be conducted March 25 in Bedford, Pa.
