Mowers stolen

A riding mower and a mulching push mower were stolen Wednesday from a home in the 12000 block of Wolfsville Road, according to Maryland State Police. The loss was estimated at $525.

Also on Wednesday, someone took a $300 Sony cassette player from a vehicle parked in the 400 block of Link View Drive.

Tool set stolen; window broken

Someone pried a padlock from an apartment in the 100 block of Sout Locust Street Wednesday and removed a tool set, Hagerstown City Police said.


Also Wednesday, a window at Antietam Coin Exchange at 136-138 N. Cannon Ave., was broken but nothing was taken. Damage was estimated at $400.

Two cars reported stolen in Hagerstown

Two cars were reported stolen Wednesday in Hagerstown.

A 1991 Chevrolet Astro van was taken from the Ramada parking lot on the Dual Highway, Hagerstown City Police said. It has Maryland tag M230074 and is valued at $6,000.

A black 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee, with Maryland tag M317237, taken from Baltimore and Mulberry streets, police said.
