The Delosiers

Mr. and Mrs. Ivan B. Delosier of Hagerstown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Friday, Jan. 21, 2000. The occasion was celebrated with family members at Nick's Airport Inn.

The Delosiers were married Jan. 21, 1950, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Hagerstown by the Rev. Edward P. Heinze.

Mrs. Delosier is a homemaker. Mr. Delosier retired from Western Maryland Railway in 1980 after 39 years of service.

They have three children, Sharon Wilson of Hagerstown, Debbie Wagner of Smithsburg and Brian Delosier of Hagerstown. They also have seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The Lehmans

Lewis M. and Irene (Shank) Lehman of Hagerstown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, at Mount Zion Mennonite Church near Mapleville, Md. The event was hosted by their children and spouses, Nelson and Cheryl Lehman of Mount Joy, Pa., Eldon and Flo Lehman of Fairplay, Donald and Shirley Lehman of Quarryville, Pa., Ivan and Cindy Lehman of Hagerstown, Eileen and Ed Heatwole of Stuarts Draft, Va., and Feliza and Craig Conway of Austin, Texas. More than 100 relatives and friends attended the event.


The Lehmans were married Nov. 12, 1949, at the bride's home in Maugansville by Bishop Moses K. Horst.

Mrs. Lehman is the former Irene Shank, daughter of the late Earl and Naomi (Eby) Shank. She is a homemaker and is hostess at Lewrene Farm Bed and Breakfast south of Hagerstown.

Mr. Lehman is the son of the late Howard and Mary (Martin) Lehman of Chambersburg, Pa. He kept dairy cows for 35 years and, with his sons, raised vegetables and corn.

The Lehmans have 16 grandchildren.
