Woman injured in fall from building

A Hagerstown woman was taken to Washington County Hospital after a fall from a three-story duplex on Potomac Street Tuesday evening, according to Hagerstown City Police.

The 20-year-old woman, who has not been identified, was a priority one patient with severe injuries, according to dispatchers with Washington County Emergency Services.

Most of the bones in her extremities were broken, according to police Sgt. Dennis Ballam.

The woman fell from a window of unit 204 of the duplex just before 9 p.m., police said.
