MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Berkeley County school students who have accumulated six days of absences from the classroom got a chance to make up the time Saturday, according to a district spokeswoman.
County high school students were given the chance to attend classes from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday to make up the time, said spokeswoman Mary Jo Brown.
Brown said the session did not have anything to do with classes being canceled Thursday and Friday due to snow.
The "time make-up sessions" are held periodically throughout the year, Brown said.
