Hagerstown's Mayor and City Council will begin discussing next year's city budget Saturday morning.
The budget discussion is scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday at the Frostburg State University Center on Public Square in Hagerstown. The meeting is open to the public.
City Public Information Manager Karen Giffin said the meeting will primarily be a "goal-setting session" for the Mayor and City Council to discuss and prioritize what they want funded next year.
The next budget is for the 2000-2001 fiscal year, which begins July 1.
