Rearick-Baker




Kenneth and Linda Rearick of Hedgesville, W.Va., wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Jane Rearick, to David Paul Baker, son of Paul and Kaleen Baker of Winchester, Va.

Ms. Rearick is a 1993 graduate of Hedgesville High School and a 1997 graduate of Shepherd College with a bachelor of science degree in marketing. She is employed by Homewood Retirement Center in Williamsport.

Mr. Baker is a 1992 graduate of James Woods High School and a 1997 graduate of Shepherd College with a bachelor of science degree in business. He is employed by Hekimian Laboratories in Rockville, Md.

Michelle Rene Gunter and Thomas "Dirk" Schultz, both of Hagerstown, wish to announce their engagement.

Ms. Gunter is the daughter of Charles and Winona Bender of Hagerstown and the late Floyd Gunter Sr. She is a graduate of South Hagerstown High School. She is employed by Beaver Creek Country Club.

Mr. Schultz is the son of Richard and Sandra Schultz of Hagerstown. He is a graduate of Smithsburg High School. He is employed by Beaver Creek Country Club as the head golf professional.

Durbin-Sebastian




Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Durbin of Maugansville announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Lynn, to Nathan James Sebastian, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sebastian of Hagerstown.

Ms. Durbin is a 1994 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and a 1997 graduate of Hagerstown Junior College. She is a computer programmer with Regency Thermographers in Waynesboro, Pa.

Mr. Sebastian is a 1994 graduate of South Hagerstown High School and is working toward a business degree at Hagerstown Community College. He is employed at Bulldog Federal Credit Union.

A March 11 wedding is planned.

Gaver-Dean




Solomon Dean and Starla Gaver wish to announce their engagement.

Ms. Gaver is the daughter of James Gaver of Hagerstown. She is employed at the Board of County Commissioners of Washington County in the detention center.

Mr. Dean is the son of Eva Lemon of Baltimore and the late Islam Dean. He is employed with G&R Foods Inc. as a meat cutter.

The couple is self-employed with Purple Haze Production. They are starting a DJ service, CD recording and live playing. Mr. Dean is a guitarist and Ms. Gaver plays keyboard and sings.

Mark and Dawn Stiner of York, Pa., wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura J. Stiner, to Tex E. Miller, son of Tex and Patsy Miller of Fayetteville, Pa.

Ms. Stiner is a 1992 graduate of Williamsport High School and a 1997 graduate of Eastern Mennonite University with a bachelor of science degree in sociology. She is employed by Caledonia Manor long-term care facility as director of activities.

Mr. Miller is a 1983 graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School. He is employed by MennoHaven Penn Hall Inc. as a maintenance technician.
