Grove-Lewis




Amanda Lynne Lewis and Robert Lee Grove were married Saturday, Aug. 21, 1999, at Hedgesville United Methodist Church in Hedgesville, W.Va.

The bride is the daughter of Harold and Marjorie Lewis of Arden, W.Va. The bridegroom is the son of Hilda Grove of Martinsburg, W.Va., and the late Charles Grove Jr.

The bride is a graduate of Musselman High School, received a bachelor of science degree in political science and a bachelor of arts degree in music performance in organ from Shepherd College in Shepherdstown, W.Va., and a juris doctorate from Ohio Northern University College of Law. She is self-employed as an attorney in the Martinsburg area and as the organist of Hedgesville United Methodist Church.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Martinsburg High School. He completed electronic technical training and a four-year enlistment in the U.S. Air Force. He has attended and completed numerous technical courses in the electronics field. He is employed at Freestate Electric Construction Company in Beltsville, Md., as an electrical construction superintendent. He is serving his second term as a board member of Berkeley County Public Service Sewer District.

They live in Martinsburg.

Kate Meredith Kidd and Joseph Mansfield Smith were married Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Hagerstown.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald E. Kidd Sr. of Hagerstown. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester J. Smith of Hagerstown.

The bride is a 1992 graduate of South Hagerstown High School, a 1995 graduate of Hagerstown Junior College with an associate's degree in nursing and a 1998 graduate of University of Maryland at Baltimore with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse by Dr. Robert Brull and Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, Md.

The bridegroom is a 1990 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. He is employed by First Data Merchant Services in Hagerstown as a retention specialist.

They live in Leitersburg.

Michelle Yvonne Wyant and James Marshall Phillips were married Saturday, Sept. 11, 1999, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Clear Spring.

The bride is the daughter of Catherine and Robert Fiala of Frederick, Md. The bridegroom is the son of Paula and Richard Phillips Jr. of Fairplay.

The bride is a 1995 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and attended Hagerstown Community College. She is employed at Pangborn Corp. in the engineering services department.

The bridegroom is a 1992 graduate of South Hagerstown High School and Washington County Career Studies Center. He is owner/operator of Appliance Repair Service Inc. in Hagerstown.

They live in Fairplay.

Repp-Fiddler




Michelle L. Fiddler and Jimmy C. Repp were married Thursday, April 8 1999, in Las Vegas.

The bride is the daughter of Bud Fiddler of Hagerstown and the late Bonnie Fiddler. The bridegroom is the son of Helen Repp of Hagerstown and the late Buck Repp.

The bride is a graduate of North Hagerstown High School. She is employed by Tandy Corp.

The bridegroom is a graduate of South Hagerstown High School. He is employed by Hagerstown Paint and Glass.

They live in Hagerstown.

Sandy S. Tsai and Daniel L. Martin were married Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999, at Raspberry Plain in Leesburg, Va.

The bride is the daughter of Ann Tsai of Sterling, Va., and Yung Lung Tsai of Taiwan. The bridegroom is the son of Robert and Connie Martin of Hagerstown.

The bride is a 1992 graduate of Walt Whitman High School and a 1994 graduate of Montgomery College. She plans to attend culinary school. She is restaurant manager/special events coordinator for Pacific Restaurant in Sterling.

The bridegroom is a 1986 graduate of North Hagerstown High School, a 1990 graduate of University of Maryland with a degree in business administration and received a master of business administration from George Mason University in 1997. He is associate director for G.E. Capital Realestate in Washington, D.C.

They live in Sterling.

Paula Marie Burkhardt and Brian Mathias Swaim were married Saturday, Oct. 2, 1999, at Cacapon State Park in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

The bride is the daughter of Gail and Carl Burkhardt Sr. of Rochester, N.Y. The bridegroom is the son of Donald M. Swaim and Marilyn M. Hall of Berkeley Springs.

The bride is a 1983 graduate of Charles H. Roth High School in Rush Henrietta, N.Y., a 1984 graduate of Continental School of Beauty in Rochester and is pursuing a degree in business administration at Hagerstown Business College. She is employed by Citicorp in Hagerstown as a FEW lost/stolen representative.

The bridegroom is a 1985 graduate of Berkeley Springs High School. He is employed by Mack Trucks Inc. in Hagerstown and is a member of 167th West Virginia Air National Guard in Martinsburg, W.Va.

They live in Waynesboro, Pa.
