Boy charged with attacking teachers

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A 12-year-old boy was charged with aggravated assault Monday after he allegedly attacked two teachers at The Learning Center in Guilford Township.

Pennsylvania State Police said the youth was also charged with simple assault and harassment following the midday incident at the school.

One of the teachers required medical treatment for a knee injury.

Hagerstown man faces drug charges

A 20-year-old man is facing drug charges after he was apprehended by Hagerstown City Police early Wednesday.

Sam King, of 121 E. North Ave., was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine near a school zone, possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of cocaine.


He was jailed on $125,000 bond, police said.

Police said a man was picked up at 12:02 a.m. in the first block of West Church Street. Earlier the man had been seen at the site of drug activity in the 200 block of Jonathan Street, police said.

Generator stolen

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - A 4-foot-square generator was stolen earlier this week from the site of the Fulton County Emergency Management 911 radio tower.

The turquoise generator is Onan Moss brand and has a steel cover.

Wallet, other items stolen from woman

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A woman's wallet, checkbook, credit cards, an ATM card, $30 in cash and other cards and papers were reported stolen Tuesday in Hamilton Township, according to Pennsylvania Sate Police.

Police believe attempts have been made to use the cards.

Earlier this week, a man's wallet containing $40 cash and an ATM card was stolen from a vehicle in a driveway in the 1700 block of Holly Drive, Chambersburg.

Thieves also got a Sony AM/FM stereo cassette player, three tapes and a baseball hat, police said.
