Artisan bread baking class

Learn the methods, uniqueness and preparation of bread baking 200 years ago. Winter photography seminar

THURMONT, Md. ? Local freelance photographer and hiker Tim Jacobsen will share his expertise on capturing the winter landscape. Participants are encouraged to join Jacobsen for an outdoor digital photography workshop at 1:30 p.m. The group will return to the visitor center at 2:30 p.m. to review their work. Family crocheting workshop

Fundamentals of modern standard Arabic

The course, "Elementary Arabic I," will also introduce some Egyptian dialect. The course includes instruction in grammar, writing Arabic script, and sentence structure. Preschool Spanish lessons
