Interfaith discussion is today

Interfaith Coalition of Washington County will hold an interfaith roundtable from 7 to 8:45 p.m. today at Washington County Free Library, 100 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown. The topic will be "Elimination of Prejudice," presented by Paula Meyers and Celeste Dixon. The program is free.

AARP meeting is today

FUNKSTOWN ? AARP Chapter 623 will meet at 1:30 p.m. today at Next Dimensions on Alternate U.S. 40, south of Funkstown. Wayne Taylor, certified fraud investigator, will speak about scams. Officers will be installed and the budget will be finalized. Refreshments will be served.

REACH hosts open house

REACH will hold an open house from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10. Attendees can bid farewell to REACH Executive Director Terri Baker and are invited to donate needed items such as powdered milk, dry cereal, thermal underwear, toilet paper or other items from the seasonal needs list or monetary donations. REACH is at 140 W. Franklin St., Suite 300, Hagerstown.
