Man stabbed today in Hagerstown

A man was stabbed in the arm this morning off Elgin Boulevard, the Hagerstown Police Department said in a written release.

Police said the man was stabbed in the right arm by another man at about 3 a.m. to the rear of 29 Elgin Blvd. The assailant was described by police as a black man, about 20 years old, who is about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds.

The victim was transported to Washington County Hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
