Antietam film premiere

The world premiere of "Ten Days That Unexpectedly Changed America: Antietam" was held Saturday evening at the Antietam National Battlefield Visitors Center.

The event was attended by local business and community leaders, tourism industry professionals from throughout Western Maryland, Antietam Partner volunteers and staffers, National Park Service employees, and historians. Several re-enactors and local historical society board members also were in attendance.

The Convention and Visitors Bureau sponsored the event. Following the film, a catered reception was held.

The film, the first in the "Ten Days That Unexpectedly Changed America" series, was televised for the first time Sunday night on The History Channel.
