Pa. man in critical condition after motorcycle crash

MERCERSBURG, Pa. ? A Lewistown, Pa., man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Ronald College was riding his 2001 Harley-Davidson west on Pa. 30 near Mountain House Restaurant in Peters Township. About 4:30 p.m. he veered off the road after rounding a curve, hit and rock and went airborne, police said.

College and the motorcycle came to rest in the middle of the road. Police said College suffered major injuries and was taken to Altoona (Pa.) Hospital for treatment.

He was in critical condition Monday morning, according to a nursing supervisor there.
