FREDERICK, Md. ? Frederick County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a stabbing reported early Sunday at the Holiday Inn, 5400 Holiday Drive.
Deputies came to the hotel at 2:16 a.m. after a report of an assault in progress. They found a 55-year-old man with a stab wound to the chest.
The unidentified man was taken to Washington County Hospital by a Maryland State Police helicopter.
